Obakan was my first maxed 5*, and still my only purple maxed 5*. I regretted maxing him when I pulled Kunchen and only had 1 tabard. Then I thought about it; I got months of use out of him. He is still my tank and I have never been pushed out of diamond over night. Some of the best advice I read on this forum; play with what you have, not with what you wish you had. Domitia hits for decent damage and dispels 3. Having her maxed is better than no maxed 5* purple at all. I’ve had Obakan maxed for months and don’t regret it, even though I’d love those tabards back for other heroes. I get use out of him, which helps complete events and get more mats.
My main defense team for a long time: Marjana/Kiril/Obakan/Leonidas/Lianna. Not amazing, but it kept me in diamond easily and let me fill my raid chest.
I don’t know how much you summon or how many tabards you have, but just because there are better options out there doesn’t mean that Domitia can’t work well for you I think she’s very decent.
Sartana is a really great hero. Domitia is pretty good, too. Thoth-Amun is almost universally hated. There’s an entire thread asking for him to be buffed.
I’m hoarding every 4* I get, hoping hero academy has something to do with them. It is getting to the point where it is a little ridiculous though! Just got another Hu Tao from legendary training
Lol yeah, I’m at that point too. I fed away 4 Colens to Red Hood now cuz I was overflowing with 6 of him! I don’t need that many lol, 2 of each is enough for me, unless it’s a hero like Grimm.
I’m not sure what to do… I think I should start feeding a few. Storage space costs 400 gems each now. It is also a pain to scroll through all that. I wish they had a better roster. I remember Tim saying in the AMA that they wanted a better roster layout, with tabs, etc… I would love that.
My highest duplicate count: 6 Tiburtus, 6 Gormek, 6 Boldtusk. All at 1/1 and not including the 1 copy of each I have leveled.
I don’t have any duplicates maxed. I prefer variety and there are still a lot of vanilla 4*s I don’t have maxed. Boldtusk included.
I look at it this way. Suppose all 90 seconds were spent with minions shooting. How much would be the score? Alright, not one of those great hits, but not the worst. Also, the board is visible while minions hitting, so there can be some overlap with player scanning the board.
True. It was initially comparing her to other 5* red options. I do think her class is really relevant. She is in a class that doesn’t have a ton of good options.
Hey, I’m fine with the digressions and comparisons. It just made me giggle to see such a strident complaint about the thread’s topic having being ditched in favor of discussing expensive heroes…and then a follow up side-track post discussing a hard-to-acquire 5*.
I think she’s very decent.
