Kunchen or Obakan?

I have only three fully leveled 5* star heroes - Ariel, Hel, and Grazul. I have Frida at 4.21. I finally got an ascension item for another dark hero to ascend. I have both Kunchen and Obakan at 3.70 and Boss Wolf at 2.60. Who should I ascend first?? I hope I can get a nature and a holy 5* heroes someday~~!!

Kitchen. The healer.

Kunchen all the way. All healers 1st. You already have 2 great healers. He will be #3

There’s no question here really.
Kunchen should be the only one you think of when it comes to this!

Leave Obakan at 4/70 as he won’t really do much for you if you have Hel/Kunchen/Ariel/Grazul.

Correction here… it should be Obakan 3.70 (not 4.70) and Boss Wolf 2.60 (not 3.60).
And Frida 5/21 ? what is this?

5* heroes each tier level: 1.50, 2.60, 3.70 and 4.80 (max)
TIER (dot) LEVEL.
For skill Number / Number: so 8/8
For emblem: Bane+5.

OK, back to OP… IMO it is so easy, it should be 100% Kunchen. There is no competition.

EDIT: the tittle should be Kunchen or Boss Wolf, not Obakan.
And If I were you and if I want to upgrade tank for raid/war, I will ascend Boss Wolf 1st, before Kunchen, because you already have Ariel and Grazul, and Boss Wolf is top tank.

So, for me +1 for Boss Wolf.

As a complete counterpoint, Obakan was my first ever 5* and at no point did I regret ascending him. You have a top class healer in Ariel, so if map/raid attack are your thing then he can certainly help. Kunchen is a top card all round versatile hero and is well worth the mats too, so, imo, which ever you think you need more (healer vs hitter) you should ascend. Have fun learning to use the heros you have and enjoy them for what they are.

Kunchen without a doubt.

In a game based almost entirely on opinion, asking which hero to ascend is a loaded question from the start. I maxed every hero I ever pulled and enjoyed using each and every one. The fun of the game is learning how they work and which others they work best with. :slightly_smiling_face:

Since you have two good healers already and only a few damage-dealing options, I would recommend Obakan, actually. Kunchen could wait for the next round of ascension mats.

Consider also that it is very likely that we’ll see Obakan get a boost with a new costume next year; maybe he’ll get a suit/tie and become a bank clerk or something.

Kunchen…there’s only one way to go, IMO: Kunchen! Too much abilities in 1 single hero! And his intrinsic sturdiness, OMG…

Although sometimes spellcheck is a PITA, I still miss it in chat :joy:

Out of those two, Kunchen for sure, because Obakan is just terrible.

I echo lexinen’s concern though, you have Ariel and Grazul - if this is your first set of 5, you are already overdoing on healers. Ariel will probably consume those cleric emblems also.

So as much as I love Kunchen, I would leave him be for now. But do not max Obakan either. Sit on those mats until something better shows up (better at hitting people, that is) . He’d be only really helpful to you as a tank for now, but I don’t think at your stage of game you need to focus on tank position that much. Ascend some Sartana, Panther, Kageburado, even Domitia… Then come back to Kunchen, as your 3rd - 4th ascended purple.

Thank you so much all for god advices! I probably should’ve waited until I draw a good hitter…but I just couldn’t wait and ascended Kunchen
This will be my first 5* roster - Kunchen, Ariel, Grazul, Hel, Frida(4.21). I’m just waiting for a nature or holy hero. It’s funny how I only get bllue and purple heroes… I also have Richard at 3.70, Boss Wolf at 2.60, Thorne at 0.0, and another Obakan :expressionless:
I’m just not sure if I need to start upgrading any of them or just wait and keep upgrading 4* heroes until I pull 5* nature or holy…I already have 22 fully leveled 4* heroes by the way. I’m just not really lucky with pulling colorful 5* heroes…

Kunchen, Obaka is something you do when you have nothing else
