I have seen multiple threads on the March Hero of the Month being a better King Arthur in a sense. I am one scope away from being able to max Arthur. Should I hold out until after I make my Atlantis pulls and use those scopes for Frida (assuming I even get her)? I skipped Wonderland in anticipation of Atlantis this month so I will be able to do a significant number of pulls. I didn’t see this posted anywhere else so feel free to merge this if I missed another similar thread.

Frida received some critiques is beta so I wouldn’t be surprised if they tweaked her before release. Therefore I’m not comfortable giving specific advice. I’d hold on to your scopes till we see her release, since there is a good chance that she will have more utility than Arthur, hitting 3 targets instead of one.

Frida will probably end up being more useful for raids (because of the debuff and how well she stacks with blues), I would still consider Arthur better for titans (because of attack down). Frida is splash damage and Arthur is a sniper, both have their uses in raids depending on your raid composition though. If Frida stays average speed, she won’t pair as well with snipers as say, Eve or Panther, simply because you’ll have to potentially hold the snipers skill to get most out of it and I’m never a fan of that. Frida and Athena pairing though… oh lordy. Mind you, all subject to change, but best to wait and have no regrets.

Thanks guys! I heard Frida will have a defense down against ice like Arthur does and will not be able to be stacked with each other so it will be interesting to see what the final release looks like. Wont hurt to wait as I probably wont get that last scope for a little while anyway.
Only about two weeks, when you can get one from the upcoming Frostmarch quest. We had Mount Umber a few days ago, and it is generally ~9 days between Rare Quests. See Mariamne’s thread on Rare Quests for more information.

I’d say the only reason to not make her fast mana is to have Arthur retain some usability. If she’s fast, I want my scopes back haha.

They’re not the same hero. Arthur has more perks than frida in my opinion. He’s just average mana and only hits 1 but does more than just drop elemental defense and dispel

I agree, kind of … but most that want Arthur want him because of the fact that he has an elemental down, they certainly aren’t pulling for him to get an average speed sniper, even with the other junk.
Frida also has the elemental link 42% protection against nature (like Kunchen’s against holy). Makes her great in raids, useless against titan.
I agree with @Wharflord—hold your scopes intil she is released, then decide.

She also did more % damage than a Panther/Evelyn which I think is why the mana speed could be different.
I’d take less damage at faster speed but that’s just me

what’s her mana speed again? if it’s a Fast then I would wait because Arthie is a solid hero
Last i heard her speed is average like arthur’s

Unless they drop her damage and move her to fast, I prefer Arthur. It’s close though, and neither is unuseable. It is worth noting, however, that average speed is significantly worse than fast in raids, despite only a 2 tile difference. At average speed neither goes off in time for your snipers to follow up, so it comes down to preference of total damage vs concentrated damage. Vs titans, Arthur is clearly the better of the two.

I like that Frida is going to be more widely available! I tried to get him or Guin during that last event and didn’t get either.
Gosh, this makes my decision tougher. I’m still lacking one scope. I was going to give it to Magni, then it looks like Alice will be a better choice. But, my question is, will she work just fine at 3/70 like Evelyn?

Frida should be usable at 3/70.
