update: Since I opened this thread I got some other reds. Now I have a maxed Elena, a maxed Guardian Falcon, a maxed Boldtusk, a maxed Kelile and I have Scarlett at 3/60, waiting for 3 more blades. Also a Gormek which I haven’t started levelling yet. Colen is gone …

Like my first tournament attack (rush attack). I bring 3 blues (Ariel for cleanse) and also Rigard… yet the board won’t allow me to fire even one hero before Colen fire 3 times obliterating my whole team.

I got wasted by a Colen tank in a tourney attack this morning. This Very Fast tournament is punishing if the board is particularly average - partially charging multiple heroes doesn’t help at all.

@holmanski squishy yes he is but tell me any characters in this game that hit hard as a truck with great defense. Sorry it doesn’t work that way. I WISH but the game has to have balance. No perfect characters.
IMO Colen is a deadly character you just have to make people pick their poison. Team him up with another great character preferably fast mana and put them on the wings. (This is what I would do)
Now whoever is raiding you has a choice to make. My idea 4* rainbow team would be something like this
Hansel - Guardian Jackal - Boril - Rigard - Colen
Of course I am missing 2 of the five (Guardian Jackal & Colen) but will be going after Guardian Jackal & Falcon next time they come around. As far as Colen goes running TC20 non stop hoping to get blessed with Colen hopefully sooner then later.
But I was blessed with Hansel who is now @ level 3:42 last event.

Colen is the handsome, cooler and stronger version of Jahangir and he has a nice hair.
Those slow, powerful, but squishy heroes can literally destroy offensive teams in raids. But, when you carry him you lose your nerve seeing as his health drops by slash and his mana does not. When you fire it is not as devastating. Because defense teams has more sustain. In war alliance if he is protected by a strong flank he can make the enemy spend many flags.

I always pair him with a riposte hero so that he has a bit of a defense for those that try to hit him. When his special goes off, he does hit hard and that burn can get you if you’re not careful. I do love stacking him for green titans. And as soon as he gets maxed, I will be leveling up Kelile so she can join him and Sumi in a red stack.

I just pulled him. Looking forward to maxing him and adding him to my Mono-Red stack against Titans (replacing Namahage; he will join emblemed Lancelot, Gormerk, Scarlett and Boldtusk). He’ll also be good for farming (mostly for Green elemental chests).
Not sure if he will make it into raids, though, as I usually go 3/2. I find that my other Reds have better synergy with most of my attack teams. Lance’s mana boost works wonders on, say, fast hitters like Seshat or Lepus, or on Proteus. Gormek softens up the enemy, Scarlett reduces damage taken by my team, and Boldy is Boldy. Sure, Colen hits hard, but he would have been great when I was still in Gold/lower Platinum.

I left my Colen behind for a long time, then finally upgraded for variety in war, but I actually use him quite a lot also in raids and map.
Yes, he’s squishy, but I usually pair him with Wilbur and a healer and that helps to mitigate the problem.
Also, while it’s true that at some point your opponents will have enough HP not to succumb immediately, he’ll fire when they already got some hits and they are weaker. And unless the opponent has a cleanser, Colen’s DoT will always be annoying.
Last but not least, with emblems he’ll have the chance to revive, if he does with his special charged, it will be a trouble for the opponent

Iv nearly maxed him got kelile at 3/60 use them alongside falcon! Green titan or even in raid Colen cyprian kiril falcon Kelile usally does pretty good for me!

@Dudeious.Maximus Mine is at 4-68 right now and I have been using him alongside Sumitomo for the last three provinces in Atlantis. Him having revive also adds to his value.
@Aunty_Krauser Nice I just got Sumitomo from this Atlantis once iv finished Colen im starting on him! He’s at 4-58 I’ll probably give him emblems as I’m lacking in fighter heros in 4*
I’ll probably go defence on him mainly due to slow mana.
IF anyone got him emblemed which way did you go?
I’ve made him a little less vulnerable. The revive skill is an occasional big win as well.
