I think this thread has devolved into an “I love Noor and I don’t care that almost everybody thinks she needs a buff” type of thread

I find this very strange, too. For some reason some new heroes - and Noor in particular - bring out a lot of hate and people take the existence of these heroes VERY personally, almost like it is SG’s direct insult to them. And anyone that disagrees with their opinions can only be ignorant/a poor player. There are some statements that when said in such an absolute way in regards to another person’s play style or roster or viewpoint are actually very offensive, e.g.
I appreciate a difference of opinion, but I don’t think it is ever acceptable to talk in such absolute terms when it is based on OPINION and especially when it can be taken as being offensive
But you called Pompitous a pompous a$$ a few comments up. Talk about being offensive and taking things personal, dude

I have taken Noor as-is, assuming that she won’t be buffed or won’t be buffed for a potentially long time - and have found her useful, and she has gotten me good results. I accept most people don’t feel the same, but most of that is based on people who haven’t actually experienced play with her. Opinions such as “She is trash/worst HOTM ever” are harmful as they can stop people - especially those F2P/C2P players with limited rosters - from investing in her when they would get a lot of value out of her.
All of my observations and arguments are based on actual game experience in multiple game modes. I raid with her probably 16-20 times a day, so I have gotten to know her worth (in the context of my team setup) pretty well. Then there is the extensive PVE experience I have had with her, including the challenge event.
This is coming from the perspective of someone who has previously HATED minions and never seen a use for them. Her minions are at a totally different level.
I have also clearly stated that I would not say no to a buff, and there are a number of buff ideas that I approve of, particularly those that enhance her sparrows.
Solely because of his/her pompous statements, which were quite personal in nature. I never cast the first stone, but I don’t just stand by while stones are cast at me.

It’s more towards them seeing her merits. I do think she’s underpowered, but underpowered in a sense that she needs just one additional effect. Too much and she’s overly designed. I don’t really see myself using her at this moment because my play style doesn’t compliment her tactics. But I respect her purpose and her mechanics.
And then there’s people in this thread who outright just hated her to the guts for no reason. Just bashing people left and right who show some form of preference for her

Well then let others have their own opinions too. Not everybody agrees with you, as you can see by that 86% of people who voted in favor of a buff. Maybe Noor is not as great as you think.
Anyway… Speaking of buffs, Noor shouldn’t have been a druid. It messes with her minion special. If devs want to keep her a slow hero she should be a different class. And she should instantly summon a sparrow everytime an enemy’s minion pops up. Not only during certain specials.
Also, her minions should automatically target any minion. Noor’s minions shouldn’t attack randomly.
Oh and remove other HOTMs immunities towards minions. Looking at Telluria/Vela. They’re the main reason people think Noor is useless in my opinion.

I don’t disagree about those sparrow buffs, I think that would make her more of a focused weapon against summoners. Also I liked a suggestion I heard about her being able to steal other minions.
I accept people all have different opinions. And I think that is great. I know that I have taken an unpopular stance on this hero. What I have issue is with ignorant opinions that are not grounded in logic, and that only serve to spread the ignorance.
Noor is as great as I think she is, in my team config, with my playstyle, and my board tactics and strategies, against the enemies I line up against. I have experienced her and have seen the results, and this part is not something I am needing to debate. What I debate is her potential usefulness for others.
I have respected Pompituous’ opinions throughout, had an open discussion, and answered all of their questions. They then decided to turn it in a more personal direction against me, my roster, my play ability, and the biggest one - my integrity. Noor may passively take such attacks but that is not me.

I like Noor as it is but I also want a buff to her so my team become stronger…

I wanted to know what information that I’m missing for how Noor is so amazing during events.
Which sucked me back into this conversation.
A slow meat shield is the response I got.

It’s a good gift. But not so good for supporting a slow meat shield as valuable for events
To be honest it’s doesn’t really matter in the long run whether she’s druid or not. Because against minion focused teams, her sparrows will come and go quickly. Just as how a thorn minion could replace a sparrow, a sparrow could easily replace a thorn.
They chose druid because I think druid has one of the highest health nodes of all the classes. If you’re already finding yourself spamming sparrows, it probably means you’re winning.
But then again if we’re talking about changing classes, monk would be what I would give for Noor

I agree here. If you are facing a situation where you are prevented from getting your third sparrow on Noor because there is already a thorn minion, then you are definitely facing 1st world problems. And if you are not at the minion cap - well then the less beefy thorn minion will still help you survive for that bit longer until you get your true minions to come. I don’t mind her as a druid
Bera will get those emblems!
And she will summon first…
Then it will be 5 moths vs 1 sparrow.
With no back-up birdies even if Noor casts

I think this argument of her being druid conflicts with her abilities really stems from Freya. They’re thinking along the lines of ‘what if the thorn replaces the powerful sparrow, then my crow will buff those thorns instead of the sparrow’
Which is more the reason why Noor needs to be monk, to withstand that moth effect
You come off as a person who loves to listen to his own voice, or only cares about his own opinion. “First person problems”? Dude, like I said before, let other people have their own opinions without jumping at their throats 
@Tidyup My reasoning behind my suggestion of changing her class was: Noor being a slow hero has more chances of being hit by the enemy. If somebody would take her to +20 her chances of summoning 2 thorn minions would be very high. Her only reason for existing is making meat shields who destroy the enemy’s meat shields. If she couldn’t even do that then she’d be a waste of mats.
But I agree. She would be improved if she was a monk. Or maybe a cleric would fit her better. Slow heroes need resistance against mana control abilities.
