Hi, I haven’t posted in awhile but since I’ve acquired a number of new heroes I was hoping some smart people could tell me who I should upgrade next and who I should LB. I only have 3 blades left to use for upgrades and I’m waiting on 1 dart to use for my next yellow, but curious who it should be and what the order should be for next upgrades!
Jove, Aradia, Evelyn/Hatter, 9 Headed Beast. Once mats are available. Nice line up

I dont have 9 Headed Beast so i cant speak from experience, but in the specific thread for that hero people seem to be pretty excited about him. If I had him I would definitely be looking to level him up as I still need some blues for a strong mono team.
I don’t have him but I can speak from facing him, ol 9 head will completely destroy any active taunter, including my lb2 Ludwig.
Yeah I plan on finishing up Aradia, I want to to Jove but don’t have the darts yet so that means all my yellow heroes will take a bit to level up. I just pulled Queen Anne along with the HotM, but what hero should I focus on next you think?
Should it be Grimble, Shargrenar, Turguk, Zagrog, Sif, Bera or Queen Anne?
@RandaPanduh if you had any thoughts on this I would love your expertise because it’s always helped me in the past 
and with all these new heroes I’m not sure if my defense team (Kushanku, Basset, Krampus, Arco and Roughian) is still a good one!

I’m sorry I’m late! I just got back from my travels. Hopefully I’m still able to help, but either way, here we go:
Heroes worthy of seeing mats
Fire
- Aradia, no doubt. Man, almost got the whole family, here, it seems! She’ll definitely be a monster defensively.
Ice
The only option I see here is Suzuna, and compared to your other heroes and options, idk if she’ll bring much value to your roster. Aino, despite being slower, covers most. The only thing would be to get reflect available in the 5* rarity.
Nature
- The Hatter, as he’ll not only bring some fun, but ya can never have enough counters to buffs!
Holy
- Jove, no contest. Dude is a superstar
- Jana would be a close second, losing only due to her slower speed. Will pair great with Jove.
Dark
- Grimble, especially if you’re still facing minion heroes. Either way, he should get mats for minion wars alone; mana is always game-changing
- Bera is the only one of the rest of these I think I’d consider, and even then, it’s a bit debatable.
Now, if you’re strapped for Tome/Blades, and therefore can only do one or two of these, my personal preference would be:
- Jove
- Aradia
- Jana
- Grimble
- The Hatter
Now onto…
Heroes worthy of LB
When it comes to using LB, I’d personally opt for your most used heroes and/or personal favorites. Also, to consider what part of the game you prefer: titans, offense, defense, etc.
Fire
Aradia is by far your best fire 5*, so she deserves everything.
Ice
Personally, I could see a case being made for several of these, but the one that stands out the most to me is Nine-Headed Beast. Dude will be useful for rush, titans, and even raids if ya can speed him up a bit.
Then there’s the fan favorite: Lord Loki. If you love him as much as most others do, then he really needs the LB to help him shine… those stats need all the help they can get!
Krampus, as your only taunt that I see, could benefit. Aino, if she’s your main support hero, as well.
Nature
I don’t love any of these options, but depending on how you feel, I think you could justify several. One being C. Mother North, as your only resurrection and for rush. Another with Congalach, being the monster he is in rush or vs titans. Then good ole Evelyn, for no other reason than to improve her stats and help her do her job, setting up damage, effectively. Then lastly, the Hatter… but this one I’d recommend playing around with first before making that decision (well, that goes for all of em technically, but I assume your maxed heroes already have the necessary playtime to make said sound decision)
Holy
Jove, obviously. Then Jana. Kushanku too, as she’s the fastest mana control in this game! In fact, if you favor that vs defense / damage, I’d even prioritize her first.
Dark
Bastet being the lovely hero she is, could definitely get a boost from further LB. She’s a solid defensive performer, and not bad to have offensively too. If you prefer more offense vs defense, I’d probably prioritize C2. Quintus before her, as mana control is just 
. With his costume bonus, he’s not even slow. Eventually, Grimble may need some too, but that’s a long way out, and things may change by then.

So I tried to only bold those that I think are your top choices. Hopefully this helps a bit. If I had more time I’d go more in depth, and I do wanna write up some possible defensive configurations too, but for now I’ll have to settle for this (or else I’ll space it completely lol)

Alright, let’s take a look 
Best Defensive 5*
Now, I prefer a more offensive strategy when it comes to defense, so I’ll be looking for powerful AoE damage heroes to synergize with. I’ll also try and include all of your options, even those that aren’t at their prime quite yet. I also prefer to lean more into rainbow, but if synergy allows, sometimes stacking can work better… depending on the heroes available. Then there’s obvi various formations to consider, so will def take some tinkering around with to perfect
Fire
Aradia is gonna be a monster here, so she’s a top choice once ready. While you wait, can use R&N as temp filler. C. Vanda would also suffice.
Ice
9HB will be a for sure for rush formats, or if ya can get some mana to help speed him along. Otherwise, Krampus is the other top choice here.
Nature
Queen Anne will be nice for rush as well, but defensively, may be too slow for some. Although, the mana increase will be devastating paired with your 9HB. C. MN paired with someone like Kalø can also make for annoying rush defense. Congalach too…
Outside of rush, Cinisia makes a solid mid defensive hero. But really, Arco is both your strongest, and most likely your most successful defensive hero for regular defense in this element.
Holy
Both Jove and Jana will make for powerful defensive heroes. Once ya have all three family members ready, it’ll be perfect. & In the meantime, Horus will make a solid fill-in while ya wait. If only ninjas weren’t so unpredictable…
Dark
Bastet, hands down. She’s the epitome of what ya look for in a defensive hero. C2. Quintus in rush. Then Grimble obvi for minion wars.
So using this info ~
Trying to keep average heroes (or slower) up front, while fast and VF in the wings. Also, ideally keeping passive heroes limited, and separated.
Your best tank options are Bastet, Arco, and maybe Krampus (if LB2). 9HB possibly too

Bastet-Krampus-Arco-Aradia-Horus
Eventual Defensive Setup
Jove-Aradia-Arco/Krampus/9HB-Jana-Bastet
Formations, and order, may change. Hard to say what works best without testing various setups and tracking progress. But hopefully this is enough info to build with, and hopefully improve on, at the very least
Just buy fcking darts for Jana/Jove.
Put Aradia , Jana , Jove together. Family bonus is fcking awesome.
