I’m really struggling with my defense team. I expected things to improve after fully leveling three of my 5*'s… but they haven’t. I’m stuck
between 1900- 2000 trophies. Argh😖 Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Those are good heroes, but that is a bit of an awkward mix and you’re probably missing some direct damage.
Kash is really only really good at tank.

I’m just thinking of pushing Elena to flank as she’s quite nasty when she fires and hopefully Kash will keep her in the fight.

Caedmon Aeron Delilah Elena Grimm
Dump kash and go for a fast sniper in the corner

Caedmon has useful dispeller abilities which Kash has not. However, not using Kash, Elena is toooooo slow and dies before her special goes off. Aeron is dead weight. I will replace him with Sartana. I agree. I do have an awkward mix. I feel like I need a better blue or red hereo to replace Grim and Elena. Unfortunately, Miki is my only 5* and he’s too slow. He has titian potential though.
Emblems have been game changers perhaps not best for my current team. Ugh

Elena on the wing loses 1/3 of her counterattack effectiveness with no one on one side of her. Also on wing being slow she will take forever to charge her mana.
I agree Kash really is a mid-level tank and not much else. He won’t help you to get much above 2000.
Based on what you have available, i would run
BT - Grimm - Elena - Aeron - scarlett
Elena is best suited as a tank but she NEEDS 2 healers to keep her alive. This lineup gives the 2 healers, + atk up, enemy atk down, enemy def down and cleanse for your biggest hitters.
Or, if you gotta keep it rainbow:
Caedmon - Aeron - Elena - Delilah - Grimm.
This swaps enemy atk down and allies atk up for minions and dispel.
But you definitely need more punch.
Caedmon - Aeron - Delilah - Elena - Hansel
I didn’t know Elena was not effective on the wing. I figured that was the only place for her as her defences is low. I’ll try moving her. Do you think she’s worth emblems? Is Scarlet or Boldusk a better replacement for her?

What about this? I could reset Grimm’s emblems and give them to Gretel. Right now I’m trying Caedmon Elena Aeron Del Hansel. I’ll see how that works out today. I got raided pretty heavily last night. It’s very clear that I have toooooo many magicians & healers on my team and noooo snipers. I was counting on Grimm for that but there are too many better 4*/ 5* out there on my areana that annihilate him.

Resetting from grimm to gretel is no gain, maybe a loss. Keep on grimm for the time being.
Elena only boosts herself and nearby heroes so if she’s on the wing there is only one nearby hero instead of two. This is true of all heroes that only boost nearby such as Boril, Cyprian, Aeron, Gadeirus, and others I can’t think of right now. In Elena’s case it also reduces the counterpunch from 3 to 2 heroes thus making it less likely to happen.
There seem to be two ways of looking at slow heroes.
The problems are
I prefer fast heroes on the wings so that they fill and activate faster myself. Slow heroes on flanks are more effective as long as they survive because they enter the battle quicker than on the wings.
And yes, overall i think Grimm is a better hero than Gretel. Hansel on the other hand can be a game changer. Hit an almost-full mana hero with his special and it’s 2 hits for 1.
Gretel spreads her hit out too much.

I’ve put Hansel in the right wing and it helped my position. I would try what AirHawk suggested, or keep Caedmon in the left wing to dispel and put Grimm on the right wing to follow the rainbow.
Update: I tried all suggestions & saw no increase/decrease in trophy count. It’s been a solid run for two months! This wknd, I gave in & bought a trainer hero pack to max Miki & Sartana! I’ll see how my investment pans out🤞
My main team consists of (in the following order)
Miki, Sartana, Aeron, Elena & Delilah
I tried replacing Elena with Scarlet @ talent lvl 18 and decided to reset the emblems to give them to Guardian Jackal. My two thoughts for improving my offence are: Start lvling a new Red hero (Sumitomo, Falcon, or Lancelot) or Tiburtus (and forget red hereo’s completely & run 3 dark hereos). Thoughts? Suggestions? Any advice is most welcomed! Thankx🤗
!I use Boldtusk, Lancelot, Falcon, and Wilbur to attack green tanks, purple for other uses. Once Scarlett is ready I will include her as well and once a 5* is ready I will use them instead. I would do Falcon, he will do red defense down no matter who the other red supporting heroes are.
That’s an aggressive play style. I’m not as daring lol at least not yet 
I’d love to try that! First I’ll need Wilbur, he’s great!
