Errr sorry for the dumb title, here’s the situation: I have Jackal 1 at +8, and a Jackal 2 at 4/66 who will be maxed within a day or two. Got 31 rogue emblems left and also have a Scarlett+9.
Two questions:
Is it better to have a Jackal+18 (eventually) and a Jackal+0, or is it better to distribute the emblems more evenly and have two Jackal+9? Keeping in mind my favored yellow stack is Jackal-Malosi-Jackal, and I have the mana troops to have all three charged in 6 tiles.
Would you strip Scarlett of her emblems to give to Jackal? I don’t really use her all that much these days, but when I do use her in a red stack she’s proved quite effective. Also really good for green titans due to high tile damage.
I would say if you use both jackals against a purple titan, then split them. If only one, make one extra beefy. Leave them on Scarlett, she has her purpose.
Rogues have been a class I’ve juggled emblems way too often lol. Having maxed Jackal, Peters, Scarlett for a long time now. However once I got Brynhild and discovered how truly amazing she is, got her to +19. Jackal is +12, Scarlett +7 (she was +18 once I think!), and Peters +1 (was also higher, but having Lady of the Lake and Hansel, along with Proteus of course, found myself not using Peters as much, beyond trials I think.) I’ve got a second Brynhild at +2, and I’m tempted to do the math and see what I’m left with to get her to +19 as well by stripping Jackal, Scarlett, Peters! Her as twin flanks is quite a thing of beauty more often than not!
Guess TL;DR is keep in mind you might get Bryn, and proceed to fall in love with her.
Anyway I think the advice from @Chadmo is sensible. I still use Scarlett vs titans, the attack down helps along with tile damage (and potential evade.) Hmm wonder if you might consider making one Jackal sturdier, and one deadlier? Be interesting to hear thoughts of others on that.
I am making just that. 5 Jackals. 3 maxed. 2 emblemed. 1 at +20 all attack path. 1 at +10 all defense path (planned to get him to +19). I have several hundreds more Rogue emblems but have scarcity of iron since I prioritized leveling up my Hero Academy, Advanced Food Storage and Advanced Farm.
I’m at 14 rogue emblems so can’t even get one more node right now, but got decent amount of iron and bit of time waiting on current constructions… wanna trade a few emblems with a few crates of iron? (SGG: resource trading when?!)
Hey, it’s a bit easy to gather them emblems than getting them a single 4 star ascension materials. Just open as many chests per day as you can, get to 1% in raid tourneys, finish all difficulty tiers in the monthly special events. Even Mystic Vision gives some.
I actually do have Peters and Brynhild, and I’m way more impressed with Peters than I am Brynhild, so sadly Brynhild would be very last in line for emblems (if she ever gets any).
Fair enough, he’s strong offensively and a very good special for sure. Personally I just love the double/staggered mana boost and double/staggered fast heals (and the special defense… and the debuff resist…) at least with the average roster I have. Hehe sometimes I’ll squeeze Lake in between the Bryns for giggles. Talking offense of course; defense team is just rag-tag with no real thought, just enough to stay in plat and give fairly easy wins to start each day lol, so when I’m looking at heroes it is usually focussed on what fun I can have with them in all aspects of the game, rather than trying to maximise trophies in raids.
But yeah, before I maxed the second Bryn, I did feel hamstrung by the affect-3 even though I loved her as she was my first fast healer and first mana booster of 4* or better. With twin Bryns now though… it can be a riot once they get on a roll.
Twin Bryns… interesting concept. I do have a second Bryn that’s sat at 1/1 for a while, so maybe after I finish getting Telly 2 to 3/70 I’ll start working on her next. Would definitely make a lot more heroes viable and have me start reusing some heroes I’ve benched for a while (eg Grimm+11).
