Is this manTrang? If not, ignore me. If so, congrats on figuring out a defense team for boss wolf good enough to get in the top 100 for some time. 
I personally have never seen a team with B.wolf & G.Owl in the global prior, so I was impressed-suprised when I saw that last week

I guess I took a risk maxing these C heroes considering the rarity of 4* AM and upcoming better heroes, but it’s worked out.
I got maxed crit troops tho. That might have made a difference.
Bumping this up. Despite all the negative talk about Boss wolf, I think he can be a very very good tank with the right flanks. I currently don’t have boss wolf but am hoping I can land him in the upcoming Grimforest event next week. Would flanking Hel be a bad idea? I know in theory it’s probably not a good idea as someone could stack yellow and take them out quite easily, but between wolf’s mana down and Hel’s mana stoppage, I would think that would be a nightmare for an average or bad board. Thoughts?
Drake Fong seems like the single strongest flank for boss wolf. He’s fast and he could get hit by tiles so he’ll go off quickly blinding 2-3 attackers. This should help boss Wolf survive. I like the Delilah idea as well. Either one of those or both or doubles of either lol
I recently got boss wolf, he’s now 3-70. I was wondering if he’s worth the mats to max as a tank. I plan to pair him up with Athena and Marjana. Is it a good idea? Also, I don’t know who to put to fill in the other two vacant spots though. Any suggestion please?
I run boss wolf as my raid tank +10 on emblems with grave and drake flanks and I’ve been winning 70% of my raids since I started running boss wolf. If you have the right flanks, he really shines
For wings (outsides) I usually prefer fast snipers.
Yes Boss Wolf is one of the best tanks in the game with emblems. He’s arguably the hardest to kill in the game.

Would he still be decent even if I don’t have bright flanks though? I read some posts (that he’ll die before his special skill fires etc) and it feels like gambling, so I hesitate a bit cause collecting the mats is hard af
I might flank him with Athena and one healer (haven’t decided who yet) while the wings would be Joon and Marjana. Do you have any suggestion for the healer? I found it hard cause the color left is green. I mean I’d love to have either Alberich, Tarlak or Mother North but I got none of them yet
He isn’t. Save your mats for a better dark hero. The best dark tank is Ursena… if you can’t net her (pun intended) consider a different colour to run as a Tank.
is it true that Boss Wolf would die even before he’s able to fire his special skill? also, what is the best tank for each color though? i was considering to pull off guin, but then i can’t ascend joon.
If you have Guin then just make that your tank for raids and wars and pretty much don’t look back.
It’s not even is Boss fires or not. He’s ridiculously slow and you can just dispel or avoid his riposte which makes him completely useless. When I face him he’s basically three lanes that I can shove tiles down to charge my specials with little care or consequence.
Certainly entitled to your opinion. Mine is, I disagree, strongly and believe (backed by official SG stats) he is one of the highest win-rate tanks in the game…if used properly. I have plenty of vids and screen shots on the forums here so won’t post again, but with the right team and troops, I’ve had the strongest rosters in the game go 0-3 against my Boss and he has taken me up to 3300 cups nearly daily
To be fair i contributed to some of those cups and i suck so cant chalk all those up to the viability of mr wolf lol

His bulk more than makes up for his mana speed in my opinion

Is he worth being my first dark 5? I’m just now at the point of being able to fully ascend a couple 5s, but I only have red green and dark so far, so I can’t even say what kind of line up I’ll have to work him into in the future. I’m kinda thinking I should wait to make sure I can get some good synergy. And personally I think maybe more offensive/versatile heroes would be better for my firsts.
