First 10-pull, now I'm overwhelmed. Help!

Hi all, trying to figure out next steps…I did my first ten-pull and got a bunch of new 3* & 4* heroes and I’m a bit overwhelmed and trying to figure out my next steps. Namely – should I focus on leveling more 3s or move on to 4 leveling? Which heroes in each color should I prioritize? Anyone I should feed away to create some needed space in my roster (I only have 10 spots for holding feeders and could use some more to do better on-color leveling)?

List of my roster and a table of my heroes below (I included the heroes I’m in process of leveling in my count of “at 3/60 or 3/50”). I’m leveling costumes along with their base heroes. Note that I have yet to get a single pair of gloves so can’t ascend any of my 4*s yet…ugh

Thank you for any & all suggestions!!

If you’re a new(er) player and building out your hero bank, then the advice I’ve commonly received is to build out a solid roster of 3 star heroes first. Then 4 stars and finally 5 stars.

Amongst 4 stars there are typically some heroes that jump up to max as soon as possible.
E.g. Rigard is a strong 4 star healer and cleanser who is still a staple in many teams even today so if you had your first copy and enough materials to max him, I would max him.

Also I don’t see your heroes (like actual heroes).

In the beginning it’s best to focus on 3* until you amass enough ascention materials for 4 stars. Five star heroes take a lot of time to get that, so focusing on the rare is wise until you got the goods to max the bigger ones. Color is based on need, in an ideal world you’d have equal numbers of each but it never works that way. Hope that helps!

added list of heroes, thanks

That helps, here my 2 cents:

red: C Boldtusk for sure, 3 star Phoenicus will help buff booster and other heroes
green: C-Caed, C-Mel, Hansel all very worthy - 3 star Gnomer or Mnessuss will help
Blue -C-Kiril and Azmia for sure - 3 stars not sure
Yellow - G-Jackal first then Wu for titans. 3 star Pixie then Rekhetre
Purple - C-Sabina then C-Tibs, 3 star Maeve

Cheers!

Agree with this list:
My general preference on 4 stars if you’re tight on mats:

  1. C Kiril or C Boldtusk or Azmia
  2. Hansel
  3. Costume Tibs
  4. Wu Kong
  5. Costume Caedmon

Congratulations on your first 10- summon

I built 4-6 teams of 3* heroes before moving onto 4* as far as I recall. But each to their own, everyone plays in different ways  I know I´d be tempted to give Lady of the Lake all the love if I had her!

But I echo the recommendation above. Hansel was such a game changer for me. I haven´t tried Merlin, but I suspect he will too; being able to prevent bosses and enemies from firing their Special Skill can really turn the tide.

Good luck and have fun :four_leaf_clover:

Honestly, the gems for the 10-pull could have been better spent on increasing your roster space. Without 3* unfarmable and 4* ascension materials, getting more unlevellable heroes is pointless.

Build on your 3* and 4* rosters and complete as many Challenge Events and Rare Quests as possible to earn Fine Gloves! (And I think the third tier ascension of Zagrog is also wasted. Better to have ascended Boldtusk to tier 4 to use him more effectively…)

Also, to create more roster space, you can feed away some of the duplicate 3* and 4* heroes, which are unlikely to be levelled up. Second Azar, second Hawkmoon, second Namahage, second Sally, second Balthazar, second Chao, second Colen, second Tiburtus, third Cyprian (second Cyprian may find some use, depending on your playstyle, but most folks will feed away second Cyprian too, and even the first!).

Some duplicates may prove to be useful in Raid Tournaments or Alliance Wars: Treevil, for example. Dupes of Caedmon (dispeller) and all the 4* healers are useful for Alliance Wars.

Similar situation here. New player. Bought a bunch of pulls in March/April. Realized how long it takes to level up a 5* some time in April and put the breaks on my spending… hard. It’s not just pulling heros. You have to tend to them. Work on building up a good strong army of 3stars with a few 4 stars thrown on top. I’d say at least five of each color… if not more. Then think about what 5star you should start.

The support you get from the Alch Lab and Hero Academy is pretty much essential to leveling up stronger heros. Work on getting your base built. That will help with the missing glove problem.

Definitely 3 stars first! Especially since you can´t even ascend the 4s.
Aim for 2-3 hitter 1-2 supportersand 1 healer in each colour. After that add anything that improves your roster, meaning is better than something you already have.

Once you start having the mats to ascend 4s you can trow in the occasional one.

As to duplicates: 3star S1 are pointless to keep, as you will keep getting those all the time, even 4stars. So only keep the ones you intend to level right away.

Buy roster space, you will do so later on anyway, may as well do it now and enjoy the space.

I observed you have gotten some 3s to 3/50+ so my advice to you would be as specific as possible based on your roster! You appeared ready to max your 4s and beef up with some 3*s!

Red
Leave 5*s alone for now
Level up Phoenicus, Jahangir & Nashgar and max Boldtursk, Sir Lancelot, Sun and Colen

Green
Put LotL aside for now.
Level up Gramps, Mnesseus & Friar Tuck, then focus on Maxing CMelendor, Hansel, C-Cademond, then Kalø.

Blue:
focus to max up the trio C Kiril, Triton & Azmia, then Grimm and Boril for additonal spec for difficult map stages.
Level up Ulmer, then Vodnik and possiby Soroca.

Yellow (holy)
Finish up Jackal. Wu & li Xiu, then focus on Gretel and Anastasia
3* Rekhetre, Kailani and Melia.

Dark (purple)
Finish up C- Tiburtus, Merlin, C -Sabina, then Cyprian
For 3 * : C- Tyrum, Maeve, C Renfeld and another Treevil!

After all these, then start on your 5s.
