Embloozled (emblem dilemma)

Hey yall, been saving all my emblems but i am preparing to spend them all and upgrade 1 hero of each class. My game focus is wars and raids, not titans but i hit those too of course. General emblem plan is to upgrade each hero on my main defense team, then pick the most useful of remaining classes for the rest.

Currently running lianna, kunchen, justice, sartana, marjana so those classes are locked up. Only bummer being no emblems for proteus but i havent levelled him yet. Soon tho. I could use dom instead of sartana but that seems a mistake.

Leaving magni off the D team means i can spend fighter emblems on boldtusk who i think is a better choice there. The other classes i have a solid choice in except for barbarian and monk.

For barbarian i have azlar, grimm, and LJ in the running and find myself leaning to LJ. Azlar is azlar with or without emblems (of course better with than without) but does well enough without. Grimm is attractive with average mana but LJ has that mana debuff and i keep running into more and more blue tank teams. I would upgrade his def mostly so he would cast that special the most times.

For monk i have the popular choices of Wilbur and wu but i am leaning here to leo. I am just too used to red pots keeping wu alive with titans and use him nowhere else. Wilbur is great but i find either he doesn’t fit my play style well or i just dont use him right. And leo is my only 5* yellow hitter and would get alot of benifit from the attack path.

Any advice? 40 levels to go on sartana before it becomes emblem spending day. Thanks!

I’m in a similar position.

I gave emblems to Proteus over sartana because if he survives to the end of an event or fires in a raid, it’s almost a guaranteed win.

Sartana works well as is, without embellishment.

And I gave all my monk emblems to Joon because I just need Wu to fire twice on titans, I don’t use him anywhere else.

I would level Grimm rather than LJ, but I also use him far more than the Merry man. My LJ only gets to shine in war.

For monks I have the same options (Wu,Wilbur,Leo). I went with Wilbur since I use him the most and he’s easier to level. Dunno who will get the emblems after him. Leo is a good choice, but I’m still hoping for a better yellow 5*.

You should propably go with the heroes you use the most. If that’s LJ and Leo for you, they aren’t bad choices.

I’ve done Wu all defense, Grimm all attack and Sartana attack… here’s how they look so far:

Since you don’t have a full 30 legendary war roster, I’d recommend spending emblems to epics.

There probably never will be a def keeping you on the leaderboard, so you can focus on epics to keep them competitive with legendaries.

Guess it was a job well done on Wu and Magni but if I were to give the emblem ro Grimm, I will definately go h/d way. His attack stat is already sky high for a 4 *. Just want him to last longer in the battle.

For myself i have well over 30 lvl70+ for war so not too worried there. May go with grimm still now as that would give me 2 emblemed heroes of each color. Hmm, decisions decisions. 35lvls to go.
