đŸ§Ș Early Information on Secret Heroes and Secret Summon [Part of The Beta Beat v66]

NOTE: Please do not, under any circumstances, share IMAGES OR VIDEOS from Beta in this or any public Forum thread. Violations can cause players to lose their Beta accounts, or threads to be closed down.

This thread is to provide early insights and discussion on the initial release of the new Secret Heroes and the Secret Summon.

Don’t get too attached

Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.

It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.

So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.

Secret Summon

  • There is no exclusive summon portal for the heroes, but they are added as a Bonus Draw for exiting summon portal for selected limited duration summons.
  • Confirmed summons with this chance in Beta:
    • Elemental Summon
    • Epic Hero Summon
    • Goblin Summon
  • Only 1 Secret Hero is Featured at any time similarly to Hero of the Months.
  • We do not know how often will the featured Secret Heroes will be change.
  • The name of the Featured Secret Hero is shown bellow the Fated summon, and the remaining time when the featured hero will be changed.
  • If you click on this section, then the hero card is shown without any information other than the Special Skill Name. All other information is marked with ??? and the hero portrait is not visible either. The class, passives and family is also unknown.
  • Apprearance Rates addon to the Bonus Draw section:
    • Secret Summon Hero: ‘(Specific hero name here)’: 0.1%

:tophat: Secret Heroes

*There are a total of five (5) new heroes added to Beta for testing; these have been indicated to be for the Secret Summon.

*The names of the new heroes are unknown they are stated just like:
Legendary: Secret Hero I, II, III, IV, V

:hugs: Family Bonus

Secret 1 family:

Heroes become stronger when teamed with other unique Heroes of the same family.

Bonus for 1 / 2 / 3 Heroes:

  • +20% / +30% / +40% defense.
  • +20% / +30% / +40% health.

Secret 2 family:

Bonus for 1 / 2 / 3 Heroes:

  • +20% / +30% / +40% health.

Insanity Status Effect

  • New Status effect: Insanity
    • Insanity has a percentage chance of reversing the targeting of a Special Skill cast.
    • When Insanity activates,
      • Special Skills that target enemies instead will target allies, anc vice versa.
      • Special Skills aimed at caster will be case on a random target.
      • Special Skills aimed at a target wil be case on the caster.
    • Insanity cannot be dispelled or cleansed,
*Hero’s Insanity can be lowered by 10 each time they are healed. Direct heals from Special Skills lower Instanity only once per cast.
    • Insanity drops to 0 when a Special Skill is cast on revered targets.
    • Reaching 100 Insanity automatically casts a Special Skill when mana is full. Insanity drops to 0 when a Special Skill is cast on reversed targets

Can immunity and gazelle’s type remove block and remove insanity status?

Looking side eyed at the myztero I pulled last tavern

So do these just absolutely supersede the other mystery heroes?

Those are some interesting mechanics (and a bit of a double edged sword, giving madness to themselves), but at 0.1% they might as well not exist.

this has Myztero vibes all over again

those odds are terrible. I don’t spend enough on this game, for this to change my summoning behavior.

wish no one will get these heroes

These heroes will just break the game :broken_heart:

As Tavern portal is not available in Beta we do not know how this will interfere with Legends Summon.

Putting something like that in the game is “insanity” the hero isn’t even very slow

Fun heroes for whales! Could become an interesting concept to play with if both sides have insanity heroes. If only one side has insanity heroes, the downside of it is inexistent. So great for whales to beat on FTPs lol, like that was really needed. But on the other hand what does a new kind of machine gun on top of your tank matter when fighting a guy whoÂŽs throwing rocks hahaha.
So all fun and games, no importance to most folks out there. But a fun idea for sure

I see it like that: I would expect one of those heroes for every 5 Goblins/Astral elves/Owls in my roster. (I have exactly zero so far, so I guess any minute now
)

I wish they would also update the mystery heroes while they are at it
still a huge bummer that they were so underwhelming while being so rare.

And suddenly all current revivers lost like 50% of their value.

Even Phenexas and a few other bards passive? :grinning:

Any idea on how much % chance corresponds to the amount of insanity? For example 100 insanity means 100% chance so the special skill will be reversed for sure?

I hope there is a typo and you forgot the part that says “has a xx% chance to revive” :upside_down_face:
