🧪 Early Information on Round 2 of Woodland Faun Heroes [Part of The Beta Beat v70]

This thread is to provide early insights and discussion on the Round 2 of the new Woodland Faun Heroes.


Don’t get too attached

Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.

It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.

So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.

There are a total of three (3) new heroes added to Beta for testing; these have been indicated to be for an unknown Summon.

*The names of the new heroes are:
Legendary: Araminta, Gideon, Ysabel

Woodland Faun family:

Heroes become stronger when teamed with other unique Heroes of the same family.

Bonus for 1 / 2 / 3 Heroes:

  • 50% / 75% / 100% chance to resist mana reductions and mana status ailments.

  • Deals 260% damage to all enemies.
  • Stack (Max: 10): All damage all enemies recieve is increased by +5%.
  • All allies gain 10% mana after 2 turns, or immediatelly if the effect is removed before the duration ends.

Passive: Resist Defense Reduction
This character has innate resistance against status ailments, stacks and Wither effects that affect defense.

Passive: Resist Insanity.
This character has innate resistance against Insanity.

Passive: Mana on Status Ailment Received
This character gains 5% mana when they receive a status ailment or a negative stacks.

Special Skill: Purifying Lighjt

  • Safely cleanses status ailments from all allies. (Safe cleanse bypasses secondary effects, such as damage on removal, from removed status ailment. External effects such as passive skills and family effects can still activate.)
  • Enhanced Dodge: All allies get +100% chance to dodge Special Skill that deal damage. This effect lasts until the ally succesfully dodges 1 time.
  • After the Enhanced Dodge ends or is removed ir replace, the ally recovers 56% health and gets +50% defense for 6 turns.

This character has innate resistance against status ailments, stacks and Wither effects that affect attack.

Special Skill: Lash of the Whip

  • Deals 525% damage to the target and minor damage to nearby enemies.
  • Enhanced Defense Ailment: The target and nearby enemies get -74% defense against Special Skills. This effect lasts until the enemy takes damage from a Special Skill 3 times.
  • After the Enhanced Defense Ailment ends or is removed or replaced, dispels buffs on the enemy.

What the hell is enhanced dodge ? Like you can even dodge attacks that say they ignore dodge buffs?

Enhanced means, that the effect is no longer there for a specific number of turns. Instead, the effect will only stop when it worked XY times.
