Costumed Santa or Elizabeth? Who gets emblems and LB

I have Santa at +20 and Elizabeth at +6, but I could easily transfer the emblems to her. I can only Limit Break one of them.

Minions vs. Fiends. Debuff vs. Slow Mana.

Sensing that this is a good problem to have.

Current defense (if it matters):
Alberich +20 / Santa +20 (just picked up his costume, working on it) / Frida LB +20 / Justice (Costume Bonus +20) / Jabberwock +19

Current best red mono (again, if it matters): Boldtusk LB +20 / Santa +20 / Azlar +20 / Elena +19 / Marjana +20

Theoretically I could LB Azlar, Elena or Marjana but I can’t imagine why.

I don’t see how Santa Claus would be any competition here.

Costume only improves him slightly. He’s still not impactful enough. Elizabeth deals way more damage at faster speed, slows mana and blocks healing. Santa’s only real selling point is nice -def, but at slow speed you need more than that. There are average 4s that you could LB who would be cheaper and more useful in the longer run.

I’d say Elizabeth all the way. Only situation I’d consider Santa would be if you had C Krampus/C Mother North/Pengi and wanted to build synergies through family bonus.

@Suicide_Bunny on offense most of the time I wait until everybody’s charged and then unleash BT - Santa - Azlar - Elena with Marjana to wipe up the strongest survivor.

I do love Elizabeth (on my other account).

I would use Liz over 90% more than costume Santa. I think even in Very Fast wars I’d still use Liz.

I have both and in my honest opinion I would focus on Getting Elizabeth to +20 and LB first
100% you will not be disappointed
Whichever hero you choose good luck

I have both and while Elizabeth is LB+20, Santa sits on 3/70 and even with his costume he’s not true competition for Elizabeth. This may change with more counters to fiends being released joining Esme and Gargoyles, but at this point it’s Elizabeth without doubt.

I don’t have Santa but have Elizabeth.

From his card, as of today’s meta, I feel, I would use Santa on titans & maybe a bit in rush play mainly for his high DD.

  • Wilbur serves the DD I require for titans.
  • I enjoy popping Santa whenever I face him. Never worried & not pulling for him.

Elizabeth, I use all the time today in all kinds of play, including the Titan for her tile damage bcoz I have limit broken her as my first :fire: hero.

  • I do get worried how to fix / kill her whenever I face her.

I will leave the decision to you based on your roster, style of play & need of the moment.

I have Elizabeth +20 at level 85. No Santa
I use Eliz all the time…my favourite red without a doubt

Too slow team & heros… For your main defense try to built a fast &average team…

About tye limit break c santa is good and his.costume bonus along with albies +38 mana up is good choice to go with…

And i have both of them and complete winter family including costume just missing krampus costume… If u pair the all together they comes out brutal…

@MonsterMonty I ran 4 fast heroes + Vivica for a really long time. Unfortunately, except for Jabberwock the fast heroes weren’t terribly special–Lianna, Marjana, and Vela (after the nerf).

But your comment reminded me I recently finished Drake Fong and so I moved my emblems from Joon to him! Thanks very much.

Thank you everyone for your comments! I finished Santa’s Costume (because, why not) but I will LB Elizabeth. And probably just keep adding Emblems to her as I get them so that I can use them both together.
