More Insights & Reading
I highly recommend reading these three threads for more information and context on summoning odds:
If you’ve read them a million times before, you may consider reading them again before deciding on your budget for summoning. A little time spent deciding on how much money you want to risk on summoning goes a long way to avoiding disappointment, frustration, and regret later.

If you’d like more extensive advice on sorting out your particular roster, I recommend creating a new thread in Gameplay Help & Tactics, and posting screenshots of your hero roster, along with your questions.
Didn’t get this guy a costume like 2 chambers ago? I still didn’t max it. Would not mind though because base BT, Mel’s and Rig’s skills are decent enough.
The toon costume is for healing and will work at even the highest power levels if double limit broken. The old wizard costume has superior jinx which is too good to pass. It’s really problematic to emblem Melendor because the base stats are attack oriented and the wizard costume and druid (toon) costume have exactly opposite emblem paths for def+hp.
I find it stupid that the third costumes for the four-star heroes hardly contribute much to their stats. For comparison, Scarlett, with two costumes at max, has a power of 731, and Melendor, with a total of three costumes at max, only has 741. They could have incorporated a slightly larger bonus for the third costume in my opinion.
Hmm. This one makes for a tougher choice on Melendor costumes. Healing, dispelling, and defense buffing really encroach on c1Melendor’s niche.
So my dilemma is, c3Melendor has the immediate heal which I prefer to HoT, but c1Melendor has a stronger defense buff and more importantly the passive dispel chance due to Superior Jinx.
he’s my main Melendor now. combining the straight heal of original Mel and the defense buff of c1 Mel… plus the toon passives, and his stats are also more geared defensively than original Mel’s… just a straight-up upgrade.
