boosted-regen Boosted Regen At the start of each battle, this Hero regenerates 300 boosted health over 6 turns. Boosted health can exceed max HP.
In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.

  • Deals 310% damage to target and nearby enemies.
  • The target and nearby enemies receive 400 Burn damage over 4 turns. The caster absorbs 40% of the dealt Burn damage as health.

(The Burn damage is depending on attack stat. So it can be different with x2 costume bonus)

C. Tyr is two speeds faster, does 50% less direct dmg, but more DOT and has additional revive skill…

And C. Tyr is above average but not amongst best of heroes…

C. Azlar is underpowered if thats his release form.
I would buff his DOT dmg and 20% more to 3 (330%).

Yeah, both C2-Alzar and C2-Justice. I am probably going to skip costume pulls, especially since I managed to land C2-Obakan last time (who is definitely among the best C2 costumes. Who would think that Obakan would be desired one day? Same for Quintus?).

Alzar has at least decent first costume, so power boost can be handy. All forms of Justice are meh though.

Rather disappointed that they released him like this. Once again, SG has failed to make the healing from DoT mechanic actually worthwhile. 190 HP/turn assuming 3 targets are still alive isn’t great. Particularly when Azlar is not built for bulk and is so slow. To make this skill actually work requires a strong blend of speed, high DoT or a higher healing percentage, and range (either to affect more enemies or to heal more allies). 3 other heroes that I can recall have this mechanic and none are what most people would consider good: Morgan Le Fay, Klaern, and c2Kelile.

I did notice they buffed his DoT slightly from 400 to 636, not sure how much difference that makes but at least the costume bonus makes his first costume better? Just a shame second costume isn’t better because who wouldn’t want to go into war with the kids :sweat_smile:

Just got to remember that a lot of these costumes are geared towards F2P & newer players in an attempt to bring their S1 Heroes up a bit to try to compete with the more experienced players & players with larger stables of premium heroes… Veteran Players might skip these costumes but all the bonuses & additional costumes give newer players more heroes to use, essentially 3 different heroes with a single summons… Veteran Players might not need or use them but newer players do & will…

I for one will use my keys to try for 2cQuintus but he’s the only one… I do have 2cJoon fully maxed (all costumes & +20) and that 2nd costume version has really helped my Gold Team immensely despite being S1…

Version 55 Beta 3 - New Classic Hero Costume Feedback: Azlar

Players really liked the artwork. Players had greater expectations given the slow speed of the Hero and a suggestion was made to have the heal affect all allies and not just the caster. Some players would prefer a different secondary effect rather than burn. Another suggestion was made to have his skill more defensive in nature to match with the artwork theme.

Suggestions:

  • Deals 300% damage to the target and nearby enemies; The target and nearby enemies get -44% attack for 4 turns; All allies reduce all received damage by -50% for 4 turns.
  • Deals 280% damage to all enemies; Summons 1 “Baby Lion” minion for the caster and nearby allies with 30% HP and 20% Attack from the caster. Each hit from the Baby Lion minions applies the following effect: The hit target receives 200 burn damage over 2 turns.

@Petri very disappointed. you never listen to feedback from beta player.

Azlar’s C2 skill right now is really ridiculous.

Or maybe they’ll do enemies diaper dirty. Everytime baby lion make enemies diaper dirty. The enemy will get 100 damage :sweat_smile:
O’course enemy will get a dirty diaper sign in his face :sweat_smile:
