At the start of each battle, this Hero gets +20% chance to dodge Special Skills that deal damage for 6 turns. In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.
Ability: Effects on Special Skill 60% chance to perform the following actions when this character casts their Special Skill: - Deals 70% damage to all enemies. - Dispels the latest dispellable buff from all enemies.
Ability: Guaranteed Effect on Special Skill When this character casts their Special Skill, any of their Passive Skills that grant extra effects on cast are guaranteed to activate.
Ability: Mana on Status Ailment Received This character gains 5% mana when they receive a status ailment or negative stack.
Special Skill: Mark of the Jackal
InIflicts the target with Greed for 3 turns. The enemies with Greed prevent other enemies from receiving friendly effects of their allies’ Special Skills.
All enemies receive 693 Poison damage over 3 turns.
All enemies get -28% defense for 3 turns.

Always wanted him independently of which wardrobe he has pillaged last. I will try for him. Whether to go for just costume is another question entirely though.
I’m sorry, but I never liked the aesthetic of Anubis because he looks more jokey than imposing like the lore surrounding him, then enter his costume. He looks like he’s about to go to a pride parade or an Elton John concert and as a gay man, yes, I would know. Lol
I personally prefer the original both in special skill and in art form - but the -34% DD to all is pretty stacked.
The costume however, I mean, the poison damage is pretty strong don’t get me wrong, but there’s already so many poisoning heroes, e.g. pirates on cast, and I’m not a fan of the costume art… at the very least, he could have lost the glasses
Though, I’d say the theme of the S5 costumes seems to be Carnival, if you want something specific to latch on to
for the guaranteed passives alone, and I assume this applies to all season 5 costumes, makes for a huge advantage for the costumes in favor over their respective regular versions.

I have his original card, but couldn’t get his costume. He is one of my favorite cards in the game. I think overall the original card will be more useful due to the higher DD, but the costume’s poison and class makes his laugh meaner.
Anubis cannot neutralise any priority cleanser.
Furd will cleanse greed and will give protection to the team like always even after Anubis fires.
I use Neema as a way to reduce the heal of Furd as her fiends are very fat. If you have good fiend makers, handling Furd can be reasonable and of course a dispeller.
Tinsel was infected with Greed here and Prof. Liden cleansed. Only Tinsel’s status ailments including Greed itself were cleansed. The other allies’ status ailments (DD and poison) were sustaind. But, Prof. Liden’s direct heal and HOT were applied to all of the allies cause Greed was already gone.
I think Furdinad’s cleansing works in the same way.
(1) cleansing Greed first // poison and DD of the other allies sustained
(2) and then defense up, sharing damage, reflecting and HOT to all allies. // In this case, even the defense down will be overwritten by the defense buff, so only poisons will be there.
Go to the original Anubis topic and look for my videos, they are mostly at the bottom of the topic. He is a fantastic card against healers. minion/ mega minions and buff makers.
I wonder how Anubis would interact with Carmenta… would two heroes with greed both get the buffs (similar to taunt where both can be attacked) or do they block each other from getting a buff?
