So I’m in another ascension dilemma. I only have 4 warms capes which of course means I can only fully ascend 1 blue hero. As the title says i have the Captain of Diamonds ( 3^ lvl 60), Sonya (1^ lvl 1) and Kiril (1^ lvl 23). Captain of Diamonds is all ready to ascend to 4^ but seeing as it took me forever to get 4 warm capes and don’t know how quick I will get more, I was wondering should i go ahead and fully ascend Captain or save them for one of the other 2?
You use him allot? Do you meet lots of minion’s?
How many healers do you already have? I personally like Kiril a lot and still use him today in wars and raids.
Personally I’d say Kiril would be a better first blue 4* for you than the captain…

Easily Kiril. Was my first fully ascended blue. And I am still using him all the way in diamond arena.
An all rounder which is good almost in every aspect.
Sonya is a good fast sniper which dispel too but a passive dispeller like Belith, Melendor or Sabina is less risky against a direct fight with a riposte.
COD only effective against minnions, which is lesser in platinum arena. And he doesn’t score well against the titan, which is the main source of rare ascension material.
Again, its down to your playing style. If you prefer a fast face game, sonya help big time.

If you are short of healers in war etc then in my honest opinion it would have to be Kiril. If not then Sonya … and last of all Captain of Diamonds
Captain is so fun with his animation but useless comparing to Kiril and Sonya.
Go for Kiril or if you have many healers - Sonya who is dispeller which will save your raids against Boril, Wilbur or Wu many times.
Thank you all for the advice. I had leveled up Captain because other than Grimm who is already fully leveled and fully ascended, my blue heroes were pretty weak and Cap was the only other “good” one I had. But thanks to some good luck I have more to choose from (even a second Grimm). He’s not the worst but I didn’t really know where Cap stood on the grand scheme.
As far as healers go I have Fully Ascended and leveled Boldtusk (BT), a 1^ lvl 18 Sabina, the Kiril, and a 1^ lvl 1 Melendor.

I ascended Capt of Diamonds to 4th, but haven’t gotten around to maxing him yet - he’s sitting at 4-35 or so, I think. I almost never use him, and I regret using the capes on him.
I had Kiril before him anyway, and he got maxed - no regrets there at all. After I got Capt of Diamonds and ascended him, I then lucked out and got Frida, and now also have Triton. Frida’s ascensions were delayed because I had “wasted” capes on Captain, and now Triton is stuck at 3-60 while I wait to get another cape.
If I could rewind and leave Capt of Diamonds at 3-60, I would do so in a heartbeat. So my opinion is: ascend Kiril, then Sonya, and… just hang onto capes after that, Capt of Diamonds isn’t worth the final ascension.

I also suggest ascending Kiril first. He works really well with Grimm and Frida. I like how the three of them charge at the same time and unleash hell on the enemy team.

I stay in diamond with a bunch of 4 * and Kiril at +13 with 700hp was my buffer. With 719 attack stat, he is quite a beast in stacking.

Thank you everyone. Kiril seems like a solid title damage dealer for being a tank/buffer/healer and those are always handy. Definitely gonna work on him and Sonya for her debuffs too. Sorry Cap, looks like your staying at 3/60 for a long long time lol

With Boldtusk maxed, I’d say Sonya then Kiril. Kiril and Boldtusk overwrite each other’s attack buff so you don’t need both yet

Under normal circumstances, Kiril first, Sonya second, Captain distant last.
The best metaphor I can come up with for this trio involves kitchenware. Kiril is a fork, he’s useful in most situations. Sonya is a spoon, also pretty damned handy.
And then there’s the Captain–he’s a melonballer. There might be one random point in your life where a melonballer would be the perfect tool for your current situation, but it’s so specialized and unnecessary the rest of the time–well, you’ll probably forget you even bought the frivolous thing and forget to take it out of the drawer. (And it’s probably buried under a bunch of other ■■■■ besides).
Promote the Captain only if you appreciate mostly useless cutlery and want to feel smug at a party the one time it comes in handy.

Do you use two healers together now?
Kiril shines in raid and defense, even if he is solo blue. This stays true until your own to reaches 4k.
Boldtusk is best stacking.

and it’s true! I don’t currently have two healers on a same team but I have been working on Sabina and Kiril.

What I do is keep many @ 3/60, use them round to see who fits my style, then ascend based on that election.
Yeah I will agree to Kiril, he is a utility hero then Sonya, ( Kiril <=>Sonya) well it depends on your roster! CoD may be on need to use., after you are done with many key blue projects.
