Hey guys! I had used my last set of rings to ascend Mitsuko (as I was advised previously) and the general consensus was that Grazul would be the next best hero to ascend (over my other choices such as Anzogh, Guardian Kong, Red Riding Hood).
But I was just lucky enough to pull Tyr, and after reading a bit about him he seems to be a pretty solid offensive hero. Do you think I should ascend Grazul or Tyr? I’m also considering that both will remain somewhat emblemed at first and does Grazul hold her own better without emblems?
To add some further context, my other ascended 5* reds are GM (x2), Ares, and of course Mitsuko, but I also use 4* BT, Wilbur, G. Falcon as well (and currently working on Aodhan).
I don’t have grazul but Vanda, both relative similar one doing a little bit of damage the other a little bit of heal, but both protection for 2 turns and that’s what makes Vanda so great for me.
I also have tyr and on offense he is a weapon. He doesn’t do a lot of damage compared to other snipers but his class and skill are just perfect together making him nearly indestructible if the board is at least halfway decent. There are battles were he kills single handedly 3 or 4 opponents as last hero standing, not sure if there is another able doing that. But that’s not the norm, for this you still need a good board where you can fire him again whenever he resurrects.
Grazul on the other hand will help the whole team, there are so many heroes with aliments out there and having a single counter to all of them is just so extremely useful. So although I like tyr I would do heroes like grazul, Vanda or garnet always before.
Another vote for Grazul. I also have Tyr and I like him, but I chose to ascend before him heroes that have an impact either on my own heroes and/ or the enemies heroes. Tyr does some decent damage to one and survives, but does not impact the entire team
I use her everywhere. She is a little outclassed now by Garnet, but still really good for the heal plus resist at that speed. The only ailment producer I don’t use her against is Bera due to the constant firing coming from minions. But she is a staple of both war and raid attks for me
Thanks for sharing her stats, wow she’s sturdy! I won’t be able to emblem her as mine are stuck on my Ariel who is my staple healer, but I can definitely see her coming in handy especially paired with Myztero if I decide to ascend him haha
Unless you have Emilio or Vanda or Garnet maxed (and you don’t), Grazul would be better. First, she is healer, and 5* healers are scarce, especially those who are not slow, even if Grazul doesn’t heal that much, but it’s compensated somewhat by her speed. Second is the debuff protection, which is essential against some heroes, notably Elizabeth whose mana slow gets entirely negated while debuff protection is up when she fires. Tyr is good but not as essential.
If you are focusing on offense, Graz is still powerful.
She saves a lot of pain. On offense, Tyr is a good Wingman, He refuses to die and i have plenty of experience in losing to him on wars as the last man standing. Graz if u are struggling with the current meta and u dont pull often on other portals (Vanda, Emilio Garnet)
Also remember, Grazul requires some practice to get used to! She is not an easy hero to manage!
