Alliance Advice - Help!

I agree. 23% HP is not healthy. With the no-shows and minimal damage from the 1-2 flag guys, it was necessary to use extra flags for the odd rare titan. So more of an exception to avoid the rare titan escaping.

Very happy to be a commoner using my 6 flags alongside similarly contributing team members.

Thereā€™s your answer then. Donā€™t waste time!

@ Mistress_of_Shadows. Thanks so much for your encouragement and advice. Iā€™ll check out The Shop Franchise and maybe ask you a few questions later if thatā€™s ok.

i think you should start looking.
changing things means kicking the no participants out, but if the leader isnt participating as they should, then they are ā€œhalfā€ the problem, lead by example.

not being very strict is understandable, we are not super strict as well, because life happens sometimes and you cant stick to the game at all times. but the minimum should be implemented

Yes. Life happens and missing the odd day or two is totally understandable.

Since implementing the minimum 3 flag requirement for titans, the leader is still a no-show about 1/3 of the third of the time across his 4 accounts while the worst offender is a no-show over 80% of the time. Hence, my frustration with ā€˜leadershipā€™.

Time to find a better suited allianceā€¦

Just read through.

Would agree with the sentiment of it being a better option to find an alliance that suits your needs rather than trying to change an already established alliance, especially one with members who have been together a long time.

The leader generally sets the tone and direction of the alliance. One having four accounts doesnā€™t surprise me; but all being in the same alliance does. (My first allianceā€™s leader had three, if memory serves, but they were active.)

if your leader is a no show who will make sure the rules are implemented?
it is bittersweet having to walk away from an alliance thats been a home to you, but you have to think about what you want, where you want to be in the game and where that is.

4 accounts in one place is a make or break kinda thing, could make a huge difference in results, scores points

There are other senior members. All have played together a long time. Itā€™s easier for them to implement rules on newcomers than one of their own. Hence, the person who is MIA over 80% of the time and nothing happens.

Out of 26 members of the team, 7 of us turn up every day and there are also 7 who are consistent no-shows (anything from 25% to 80+% of the time). Sigh! :sleepy:

if you have line and those 7 other players do as well, reach out to them.
maybe you can all set up your own alliance, you may take a minor hit on the titan level but at least nobody has to do all the heavy lifting. then again if you 8 are the only ones doing the damage then you can quickly go back to the same titan level

Itā€™s unlikely the other 6 will want to leave as they have played together with the current leader for a long time (3-4 years) while I am a relative newcomer ( 7 months). Besides there are another 12 who turn up most of the time but miss a few days here and there. So not really feasible.

then you gotta do whats best for you.
start looking, dont stick to one alliance, visit as many as you need until you find what you are looking for

ItĀ“s never easy when one finds themselves in an alliance, that doesnĀ“t quite ā€˜workā€™, for one reason or another.

We form bonds, in many ways and on various platforms in this game. But the alliance is often the glue that holds it all together and itĀ“s what keeps our interest, even during times where the RNG doesnĀ“t go our way - your fellow alliance members are there, cheering us on, celebrating our victories, and emphasizing with us when things are rough.

At least, thatĀ“s how I understand many alliances are.

But, in a game like E&P, it also matters how well each member performs, and the game activity of them all. Especially because of the 30 member limit.

If it was me, being in an alliance with a leader that is how you describe, then I would loose motivation to stay. The leader sets the tone of every community. If they and the rest of the leadership are ok with the more relaxed way towards spending war-flags, titan-flags (and events) and you do not share that, then it might be time to move on.

As far as I understand - there are many alliances for the end game players out there to be found. Good luck ahead, I hope you will find what you seek. :four_leaf_clover:

also if you are checking, my alliance is part of a family, Ascendant family.
we have various level requirements per each alliance, mine is more laidback.
but Ascendant Universe is a higher level, a bit more strict. all players are active.
check it out

Thanks for sharing, @Gwniver.

A couple of them are generous with their advice and I appreciate this.

However, there are double standards. They do not hesitate to demote and kick ā€˜newcomersā€™ (6 months or less).who leave unused flags at war. When the leader left 14 unused flags across his 4 accounts, nothing happened. Same for other long-term players who left unused flags over several occasions. They make the rules but donā€™t always keep to their own rules.

When there are consistent no-shows for titans, the rest of us have to step up - and use extra titan energy and battle items - or the titan escapes, So yes, youā€™re right. Itā€™s demotivating. I donā€™t mind doing the heavy lifting but everyone should at least try and do their bit for the team. Hence my frustration to look for a better solution.

Youā€™ve outgrown your current Alliance in game and mindset and itā€™s time to move on you need somewhere more competitive and challenging so you can further improve . Unfortunately with lax leadership it will be inevitable that the Alliance will crumble.

You sound like the type of player that we would love to have in our Alliance Whack My Gnome feel free to message maddogP on Line app for an informal chat
