Advice on changing alliances

Hopefully this is the right place for this topic. I’m in a conundrum right now. I love my alliance, but there are only 3 active members including myself that have the ability to knock titans out, collect the majority of points in war and just be somewhat competitive.

So I feel like I’m outgrowing my alliance. But I’m in that awkrawdr phase you can say, only maybe 4 solid teams for war. I have an insane roster for only having played 5 months. But even though I buy pretty much every offer, compete in every tournament, have at least A performance on titans, I’m still short materials to level a huge majority of my heroes.

So ultimately I feel I need to move on, but I’m not sure I’d fit into a semi comptetive alliance yet. If anyone has some suggestions I’d love to hear it. I felt like I should wait things out until I get my roster up, but I feel that if I don’t move onto higher level titans and have better wars, I won’t get the mats I need to grow my team. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Highlighted a key point from your post.

I’d move to a more active alliance, perhaps a training alliance. As you already know bigger titans = more chances of non-farmable ascension materials.

How would I go about finding a teaching/training alliance?

What size of titans are you comfortable with? Our sister alliances (Crew-Direwolves and Crew-Seahaks) might have space. I can get you a contact if you want. Neither is technically a training alliance, but might be at the right level for you.

@mpolo My current alliance can’t get past a 7* titan but It’s 4 guys including myself carrying that load. Which is why I’m searching for a new alliance. We’re literally short 20+ decent players. So to answer your question, I can handle bigger titans assuming I had more help.

My cups never fall below 2400 at this point and comfortably sit around 2500 maybe because I don’t raid as much as I should to be honest. I prefer war and tourneys.

As for war, I have maybe 3 solid teams and a few that can help clean up. I’m pay to play and I have a huge roster, but I’m in this catch 22 where I feel that if I stay here I simply won’t progress to the point I can level all the heroes I have. I also feel however if I don’t find the right alliance, I may hold them back and I don’t want to be that guy either lol.

So I’m just trying to find a great fit for all of us, cheers!

Here’s my roster too. I have a lot of heroes, they’re just not all viable yet due to their current level.

I’ll tell you my experience, though it differs from yours.

I initially joined animals of justice, maybe 20 strong players and then people like me who were learning and slowly progressing. After I had 2/3 tc20s running, I quit the team to build my roster. I was a marginal contributor in wars and titans, cleaning mostly 2/3 hero cleans.

Then I joined Insomnia with Ice Princess (leader) (we were a top 500 alliance. I think we climbed as high as 200 on the global alliance rankings) and I was the worst roster of the 29, but had a similar role, cleans and mediocre titan hits and my performance was middling despite the weak roster. Eventually the leader quit and the team broke apart.

Later, I joined gravemaker about 2 months after its inception. We had around 20 members. Similar role, cleans up and down titan hits. We were a top 100 team that made #1 3 times during my tenure. My roster grew over 18 months and while I was never that strong… I felt I could do more than the clean role.

Presently I’m with pint of fun, I have 5 teams I have a great deal of confidence in wars… I average around 200k in titans. We are a top 100 team and during my short tenure we have gotten to 7 overall.

My point is, I was a strong board player with a defined role which was beneficial to the team. It sounds like you have a decent roster that will progress quickly overtime… And you may want to consider a reduced role on a top 200 team until you feel comfortable hitting 14* titans and a half clean role in war. If there was a role for me in a good team… There is definitely a place for you on a good team.

There are something like 10 teams in the “pint of” family… I am sure one of them will take you while you see if you like the vibe of bigger/stronger teams.

Do you have Line? If so, try zecyll53 or wizer27 for Direwolves (may be a tick too big for you – they want 6 leveled teams, or Seashells84 for Seahawks (casual, currently has 1000 cup requirement).

You may want to check out this training alliance. @The_Alchemist just posted a few days ago.

(And feel free to check out Hogwarts Castle, too. Though I’m not sure how good of a fit we’d be for a serious, p2p player.)

Also… I helped build a casual alliance with a lady friend of mine. She keeps the titans at 10* so you don’t have to go crazy building tornadoes/time stops… They keep changing their name so I have to find out what they are called…

Sure-fire combustion. Tell them toad sent you.

Hey you would fit in well in the teaching alliance I lead

EPU- Empires and Puzzles University

We are doing 9-10* titans and you have a mix of newer and veteran players who like to talk the game and help people grow and learn. It sounds like we’d be a good place for you to spend some time as you get your 6 war teams where you’d like them and feel really solid in your game before you move on for an upper competitive alliance.

Feel free to come check us out and see if you agree. We have a couple spots open now and you won’t have to carry titans alone as well as you’ll get better loot from bigger titans to help get your heros up faster.

Wherever you go keep learning and growing and you’ll do well.

I would recommend the alliance “kiwi academy”

Several long term players that I know are there, but it is a mixed group that will welcome you, understand your roster as is, and have plenty of insight to share while smashing titans :grinning:

It’s a little early for you to join us at the Incognitos, but if you want to chat about it then you can contact me on line dbcep.

Recommend Forsaken Ones! Nice and warm place and fit for your roaster and your profile!! Check them and talk later!!

Hi Pete,
Unfortunately, it would appear that you’ve outgrown your current alliance. Its never easy to ditch a good alliance, but they appear to be holding you back. If you want to try us and see what the difference is, then please do we will be happy to have you. We are HamNation. We have 26 active members all of whom attack titans, currently 11/12*, and an active war team. We have a reasonable amount of members over level 60, as well as a mix of slightly lower levels from 30 upwards.
We only have 2 rules- hit titans, and use all flags in war if you opt in. That’s it.
I think we’ll be a good fit for each other so come and give us a try. Ultimately, if it’s not for you, you can leave at anytime but i think if you make the leap you won’t regret it.
Good luck and hope to see you soon.

Do you use or have you heard of. HeroPlan.io A great tool for just about everything related to hero management (produced by @GDIBass if I recall). A pile of forum members use it. It is excellent.

Hey, I saw your message and I’m interested in checking out your alliance. If there’s a spot open on n a week or so, I’ll contact you. I’m just having a hard time leaving them, I just feel bad. That said, I need to rip the band aid and move on. I checked out your team, nice range of players.

Thanks for the reply. Excellent to hear. We still have 3 spaces and would be glad to have you join us if you can rip that band aid off😜
If you have any issues getting in then please message me and I’ll see what is needed to get you in. Since I messaged you previously we’ve had a further new joiner so we’re making great progress.
Look forward to seeing you soon :+1:t2:

If you are still looking, check out Mosh Pit Warriors . We are a casual alliance. Low pressure, we do this for fun.
We have players at various levels, many in the 50-75 range. Not chatty, but always willing to help.

Hello Ugk26

we are doing some house cleaning and we have currently 6 spots available, if you have not found your alliance, you come check us!

Alliance name: Active & Open (temporary going as: Thor! Blue War Tank!)

  • Members : 24/30
  • Cup Requirement : only 200
  • Language : English
  • Age : 18+ (under age accepted if one parent in alliance)
  • Titans : 8* - 9*
  • Usually face war teams of 3800-5000 TP
  • Inactivity limit is 3 days (unless advised).
  • Discord Server available (not required).

This is a casual, not performance oriented alliance. We try our best and don’t fret with the results. We are a mixed level international alliance. Most of us came very low level and grew with Active & Open and we feel it’s important let our alliance open to all levels. Players level range from 25 to 79 with average about 40-50. We are more on the quiet side, so if you like a very active chat room, we are not a good fit for you. That being said, we like to help or answers questions.

Titan is optional but we usually kill most of them. War is mandatory, but you always have to opportunity to opt-out when you can’t make it. Real life will ALWAYS come first. No war strategy or coordinated attack apart from war tank colour. We change colour at the beginning of each month so every one can at some point use his/her best tank.

Come check us out!
Active & Open (temporary name: Thor! Blue War Tank!)

@Shunt already texted you

I’d highly recommend EPU :green_heart::green_heart:

Brilliant alliance
