5 star troop def bonus

I apologize I could not find it or calculate, but if I have mana troop 5* paladin and i get 25% bonus, and the troop grants extra 8%, does it meam I get 33% in total? Or is it only 27%?

Should be 27%. For some reasons those bonus are multiplicative and not additive like most of the “extra” bonuses. But that’s from memory. Let someone else confirms

For some reasons those bonus are multiplicative and not additive like most of the “extra” bonuses.

@nodrog worked it out to be multiplicative and the 25% end up as 35%:

The way it works is that the legendary troop +8% defence bonus is applied to each of these buffs separately. So the 25% buff becomes 35% (=1.25x1.08) and the 50% buff becomes 62% (=1.5x1.08)

Yeah like Zack says, its very counter-intuitive.

The “25% bonus plus 8%” isnt either 25+8 = 33% or 25 * 1.08 = 27%

Its actually 1.25 * 1.08 = 1.35, so 35%

I dont know why they do it that way, it feels like a coding mistake.
