More Insights & Reading
I highly recommend reading these three threads for more information and context on summoning odds:
If you’ve read them a million times before, you may consider reading them again before deciding on your budget for summoning. A little time spent deciding on how much money you want to risk on summoning goes a long way to avoiding disappointment, frustration, and regret later.
Wondering About Your Personal Situation?
Feel free to discuss your team and roster here, and ask for advice from other Forum members.
If you’d like more extensive advice on sorting out your particular roster, I recommend creating a new thread in Gameplay Help & Tactics, and posting screenshots of your hero roster, along with your questions.
Im normally not a fan of random specials, but this random special at least has skills that trend in the same direction.
Either way it goes, it tips the total max health ratio of the board to your favor. I think it could be useful if your team is set up to survive past turn 10… just not in rush or bloody
Interesting 3* tank, could replace Faiez in no-red, non-rush 3* tournaments.
Definitely wouldn’t junk her if I got her.
Worst case, you get a fast overheal and defense buff. Best case, defense down + a health reduction (which counters aether regen or any % heal) before your hitters fire.
She should pack >800 defense and >1600 health with LB2 plus emblems and troops, which puts her up there with Jolly and Treevil… and she’s fast.
True, but he’s hard to get. And the other two are not as well received, maybe Winnie is better now. Not to mention the only buff he got was increased stats. No love to bear family
Something is confusing me, and I can’t remember having seen this before (though with my memory problems, this isn’t a surprise at all).
The Hero Card says “New Clash of Knights hero is released,” while elsewhere, we’re told she belongs to the Bear family. I can’t remember this happening before. I know about the Sun and Moon families and sometimes use them together for the bonus, but I don’t understand this “Clash of Knights/Bear” thing. Are all heroes the same way and I haven’t noticed? They all have two families?
I’d be grateful if someone’d tell me about an analog I’m likely to have who also has two families; maybe the penny will drop?
I have enough difficulty remembering that a hero belongs to one family; now I hafta double the confusion trying to remember two? Why was this done? What’s the benefit to players?
(I really and truly hope what I’m asking isn’t something that’s totally obvious to everyone else, and that the entire forum isn’t laughing at me and my confusion. I’m really hoping I’ve simply misunderstood something!)
I’ll try to help:
Clash of Knights is the event, which certain families are a part of;
The families connected with the Clash of Knights are:
Wolf (Round 1 - e.g. Ludwig)
Raven (Round 1 - e.g. Raine)
Stag (Round 2 - e.g. Lysanor)
Bear (Round 2 - e.g. Yona)
All four of these families, receive bonuses in the Clash of Knights event (currently ongoing in the Quests tab), which is +20% to attack, defence, and health in the relevant quest stages.
Their family bonuses though, are independent, and can only be paired with one another - so, Lysanor + Xiamara (Stag) = negative attack debuffs get converted into positive attack buffs; or Quintin + Raine (Raven) = chance to make ailments uncleansable
Another good example of this, is to think of it like Challenge Festival 1, which has the following linked families:
Pirates of Corelia ./ Pirates family - e.g. Finley
Guardians of Teltoc / Teltoc family - e.g. Guardian Panther
Knights of Avalon / Avalon family - e.g. Lady of the Lake
Fables of Grimforest / Grimforest family - e.g. Puss in Boots
Riddles of Wonderland / Wonderland family - e.g. White Rabbit
So, all heroes from these families will receve bonuses within the Challenge Festival 1 event, but their family bonuses only work with members of each family
