What troops do you prefer and why? Trying to figure out which portal to pull from.

I have both and each are useful at one time or another. Majic troops are new perhaps half in ninja and the other half in magic

I prefer magic troops to help with those mana break points, as I still don’t have enough mana troops levelled to even get my 3-2 attacks all to 6 tiles in rush.
Troops are quite frustrating to me, even more so as they release more. I love the idea of having 1-2 of each type leveled and choosing strategically which to use for each raid, war attack, titan or other attack, but, unfortunately they cost so much to level and take so long to level that you will do well to have a 29/11/11 in mana troops of all colors after 4 years of playing. Maybe if the game survives 10 years more, and I keep playing that whole time I might be able to have something other than mana/magic troops levelled

All about the mana. Attacking is great but getting those skill shots active is most important.

I find ninja troops are good for two things:

level one up somewhat and give it to your highest attack member on your titan team for that color.

if you specifically have a ranger that really benefits from having the additional bypass chance and doesn’t need the mana as much, give it to them. I’m levelling a yellow one specifically for use with Devana in that regard. That bypass has already saved my
several times and it’s only level 7 or something right now.
that said, i have one of each ninja troop and still don’t have a green mana troop, so i’m saving up for magic portal because I really really need a green mana (or magic) troop more than anything. hell, i’d take a green crit troop. my only 4* green troops are all ninja troops.

I have one set of normal mana troops at 24 and 11 already so I’m not leveling a set of magic troops now. Not because I don’t want, but I cant. Being realistic, as f2p I can’t do that.
I use my tokens at ninja troops so I can improve titan hits and mythic titan hits and maybe challenge events - even I don’t care much for my score on them.
Today I’ve used 20 tokens that landed me 2x Red Ninja troop and x1 Blue ninja troop (dupe). I’m still missing the green ninja.

My personal view is that every single troop is extremely valuable for very specific heros and team composition. You have to think outside the box and figure a completely new strategy. Magic, Ninja, Crit and Mana become uniquely amazing on very key heros. The complexity makes for unique progress. Good luck!

I have 30/23/X mana troops, I’m aiming to get the third to 23 aswell before going to 30-rainbow with magic ones.

So, I’d like a breakdown, which one are better for what?
I prefer ninjas. I already have mana troops at 17 and 23. Why should I start over? And what will my fast cSartanaLB be more happy about? Guess.

Magic troops, its no brainer really.
Back in time i leveled my ninjas to lvl12 or so, feels like waste of resources now.
Speed is everything.

I’m sticking with mana.
Unless you are one of the biggest whales who owns multiple lvl30 mana troops in each color, magic would be the safe choice.

Ive got 54 EHTs saved up. Should I use them on Ninja or wait for Magic?
I go Magic & Styx for the mana. Ninja I have in each color but haven’t invested much resources in leveling up.

I’m focusing on styx because 20% mana at lvl 27 is my ham… Or jam… But ham definitely plays a role.

Tell me about it, I haven’t been able to level my troops in yonks. All I’m doing is feeding and feeding my heroes.
it is particularly frustrating for me because I have some level 22/26/30 vanilla troops in many colours but now with the new magic/styx troops I feel like I need to startover again
