I have a problem- I am getting close to having enough rings to ascend a 2nd red 5*, and I had Mitsuko all lined up and ready to go… I did a single pull today and got Queen of Hearts. Now my choice is much more difficult.
I have done some reading on other threads and there is no clear consensus that I have found. I was wondering if i could get some advice specific to my situation.
Here are my other relevant (5*)heroes.
Red: Anzogh(4.80), Mitsuko(1.1), Queen of Hearts(1.1)
Blue: Richard(1.1), Ariel(4.80), Miki(3.70)
Green: Lianna(3.70), Kingston(3.70… will be maxed soon)
Purple: Sartana(4.80), Marie-Therese(1.1)
Yellow: Inari(4.80), Justice(1.1)
Personally, I was leaning towards QOH to bolster my raid defense… I was thinking something like:
Sartana, Anzogh, Ariel, QOH, Kingston.
You have quite a few bulky reds, so determining which one to add to your def will depend on the type of defense you’re trying to set up. If you want to go for a buff heavy def, I would do QoH. If you’re going for a disruptive def, I would go with Mitsuko because she cuts mana while making your opponent play around her blue special reflect (she’s also one of the few good, rare, 5* sorcerers in the game). If you plan on running multiple reds on you def, Mitsuko is probably your best bet.
Orient your team like this:
Kingston, Mitsuko, Ariel, Anzogh, Sartana
FULL DISCLOSURE: you could also wait until february and try your luck with the fire HotM coming out. Just some food for thought because I’m in the same boat and plan on leveling my recently pulled QoH to 3.70 and will have her sit there with Cap’n Kestrel until I see how JF get’s released.

Mitsuko and not even close. QoH has been underwhelming compared to before her release. I left her at 3/70 and maybe use her for war clean up. She’s just collecting dust.
Made me do some research. I found a card from beta 1.19 which I believe was the original. It is nearly identical to her current card. Only difference is her minion now inherits 13% hp and the original it was 15%.
Mitsuko by a mile. Though QoH is fun to use on offense, that’s about it. Her special is very easy to get around, while mits can delay blue specials by quite a few turns, turning possible wins for opponents into defeats. Since you’re looking at raid defense mostly, it’s even more obvious that mitsuko is the way to go for you.
Thank you all for your input!! It is obvious that mitsuko is the winner here, she will be the recipient of the rings!! Thank you for all of your input. I do, however, love the queen of hearts. She is a really cool card, and I wouldnt mind leveling her some day as well.
I’m with @l2ider on this one, Mitsy is a beast, tank or flank depending on the situation plus the defect blue comes in VERY handy more often than you would expect. I’ve enjoyed watching Alice and the Captain kill themselves after her special fires.
