Who to ascend next- Magni, Theobald or Morel?

I am not sure who I should ascend next Magni (I do have C Magni but haven’t leveled yet) Theobald or Morel (I just pulled Morel). Ascension items are rare for me (blades and tomes never seem to drop for me) so it’ll prob be awhile until I can ascend someone else.

Fully ascended in blue , I already have Glenda+20 , Alice +16, Krampus+19, Ariel +20

I also have Grimm+11, Kiril +20, Mireweave +7 and Sonya +7 (& a bunch more 4*). I also sometimes take Nordri+20 if I think I can keep him alive since he has blue def down.

(In the wings I also have Crystalis, Raffael, Frosth, Thorne, Isarnia. I wasn’t really thinking about any of them but could be persuaded. I was thinking I need another hitter at this point for my blue team)

Any thoughts are much appreciated!

Morel is one of the best blue defender and a solid hero in offense.

Magni is okay since you have the costume but Morel does what cMagni does better.

Theobald is only good for VF if you ask me.

You already have Alice (sniper), I think Morel 1st, then Magni (as his with costume bonus is beast).

Theobald when paired with Ariel isn’t as bad (Since she’s a mana generator) and he hits everyone with that green deflect (which is why he made my list)

I’m also working on my mana troops so I don’t want to be too shortsighted.

I just pulled Morel and thought maybe I should go Morel first.

I think he rather needs frosth more than ariel to be good outside of VF. The problem with mana gen booster of the same color is that you still need tiles after they fire to be effective.

In this case it does not matter for the first cast of theobald to have the mana boost from ariel.
The next 3 tiles you get will allow you to fire theobald. After that you need to immediately have 2×3 matches to benefit from ariel’s mana boost.

Hands down morel!!!

He is best def down fast blue right now in the game…
Dont think more just go with the flow this kind of heros never gets old

I’m dreading the thought of a Glenda-enhanced Morel hit.

It’s unwise to dump resources into cards that have already decayed.

Magni is a mosquito without his costume, and that will be replaced by S2 and event costumes.

Any of the more recent super creeps, such as morel, will give you further longevity of use, until they too will eventually be replaced. But your resource loss will have meaning for a longer period of time.
