If you could pick only one 4* hero from each class to fully emblem and play alongside your 5* heroes what would your choices be?

Mine are:
Cleric- Hansel (Rigard comes very close for me, and now Mist/Lady Woolerton raises the stakes significantly)
Wizard- Proteus (Kiril if I didn’t have Pro)
Paladin- Falcon
Monk- Wilbur
Sorcerer- Skittleskull (Would actually choose Sabina if it were not for SSkull costume bonus and me using her for events)
Rogue- Jackal
Fighter- Boldtusk
Druid- Caedmon (Melendor good choice too)
Ranger- Triton
Barbarian- Grimm (Gretel would be my alternative)

Depends on roster, but I picked these ones from mine:
- Scarlett → She’s all the way at +20 for Rogue emblems (I don’t have Jackal though as otherwise he’d be the more obvious choice)
- Boldtusk → He’s at +16 with Fighter emblems, but he seemed like the best choice out of all the fighters in 4* rarity
- Rigard → Cleric of choice, he’s at +18. Cleanse and heal at average is great.
- Tiburtus → Chose him as my ranger to take to +18, though I have Triton as well. But I much prefer the defense down support from Tibs
- Wilbur → He’s very vital in my red stack so he got all the Monk emblems from Wu when he was maxed. He’s at +18 and likely not going farther.
- Sabina → I don’t think there’s another Sorcerer in 4* worth the emblems. She’s at +8 though, as I recently put more in Mitsuko
- Sonya → Paladin of choice, she’s very useful. Have her at +18. Fingers crossed I get her costume soon.
- Caedmon → chose him over Melendor as I prefer a more offensive approach when playing. He’s at +16 and I’m also hoping for his costume when released.
- Kiril → as I don’t have Proteus, I chose Kiril to take to +18. He’s an important counter to defense and attack droppers
- Gretel → I took her to +17. I do have Hansel but since Cleric has Rigard, I chose Gretel for the spell slay effect and since Barbarian really only has Grimm to compete with. Still use her regularly.
My focus now is on my 5* team.

Gretel makes sense since you gave your clerics to Rigard. I had the opposite happen I had Hansel first then got gretel, so I went with Grimm for the Barbs. Was going to take Rigard all the way down now that my Hansel is at +19 but I have Ariel now so I’m good with just the costume and bonus on Rigard. Scarlett would be my choice if there were no Jackal. I agree about Sabina being best 4* sorcerer for emblems too, but since I prefer att heroes and with the costume Skittleskull has an amazing attack and good for AOE in events I went with her. I didn’t go with Tibs because I chose Grimm out of the 3 pulverizes and Triton is the best 4* sniper, but he is a good candidate.
I too prefer offensive playing and always give attack heroes the edge over defense heroes, so I went Caedmon also. I just stripped him when I got either Alby or Zim can’t remmeber which one I stripped him for.
This proves there just aren’t enough emblems to go around LOL

Costumes definitely changed my list significantly. For instance, cleric wise started with mist over rigard. Just just has so much to offer. Then, I got ©Rigard and noticing that his © is ranger, I went to +8 for the Xtra Mana bonus on top of the 5% © bonus, now there’s a +7% Mana bonis.
I guess my point is that it has become more involved to decide who to put the Emblems on. There’s a bit more to think about now and here’s my list as of today.
(Based solely on who I have on my team)
Barb- Gretel
Cler- Rigard/Mist is so close here
Druid- Melendor
Fighter- BT
Monk- Li Xui
Paladin- G.Falcon
Ranger- Buddy
Rogue- G.Jackal/Peter’s very close
Sorcerer- Sabina
Wizard- Proteus
I really appreciate this thread as I’m constantly flip flopping my decisions. Ever the 2nd guesser. This helps validate mist of my choices and tbh there’s nothing better than bringing a suped up epic into my war attack team and watching it take down some fearsome legendary heroes…

My approach is to turn some of the better 4* into 5* with emblems for war depth, so I have a few 4* with emblems in the same class. Grimm and Gretel at +20 and 19, (Miki now at +4), cRigard and Hansel both at +19, and Mist at +13 (Viv, Grazul and Snow White don’t make my defense team, so they are fine without emblems). Jackal and Brynhild at +20 and 10 (Brynhild is amazing, she turns Heimdall and/or LotL into average heroes!).
for the rest of the classes, I have:
Ranger - Tibs at +10 (Seshat at +15. Tibs will keep going up, love that defense down with his costume!)
Wizard - Proteus at +19 (Had Kiril emblemed up but stripped him and gave his emblems to Guin when I got the Kiril costume)
Monk - Wilbur at +20
Fighter - Boldtusk at +20 (894 defense with his costume! Sheesh. Love him!)
Sorcerer - I had Sabina at +20, but stripped her to split the emblems between my Ladies (Locke and Lake)
Druid - Melendor only at +10, still considering giving them to Vela who is at +12 now…
Paladin - No 4*. I only use Falcon for his defense down against titans and at 754, he’s sturdy enough to stay alive, so my emblems are split between Frida and Clarissa.
I know some people say that you should never use emblems on 4*, but they can actually become 5* heroes with emblems. I go for depth instead of having a single powerful team. And the 4* are fun to play with!

Rogue: Brynhild, Ranger: Triton, Monk: Wilbur. These are the ones I focus on, I split emblems on the rest and prioritize 5*s.
