Hi. Should I continue maxing my 4* mana troops with 4* trainer troops or wait for 5* troops?

Can you post some screen shots of yaah troops so folk can help bit better.
Personally id keep the 4* trainer troops.

I’ve got a rainbow set of magic, nana and Styx. (And Crit and Ninja) - but my focus is getting Magic to 29 and Styx to 23 -my mana are all at 24. I’ve been using the trainer troops for the latter stages.
After that, I’ll think about what to do with the legendary troops.

It depends on your troop status. I have a full set of mana troops leveled, and almost a completed second set of styx troops. I’m using my training troops to finish off my Styx troops. I have about 45 troop coins to try to get 5* troops. For me, I can’t see myself converting as of now. Troops strength and speed is important nowadays. Have to see how things go.

I have blue at 25 red at 27 purple at 30 and green and yellow at 23 all mana troops. So I guess its better to max those troops with trainer troops.
I believe you cant use ETT to pull 5*s. They may have their own currency.

Based on additional comments you made after your initial post regarding your troop level. I would be comfortable using the 4* trainer troops on your mana troops until you get to level 29.
IF you have a lot of 3* troops to feed and can reach level 29 without the 4* trainer troops that would be the ideal method but if not, better to have something good rather than suffering while waiting for a possibility.
IF you plan to exchange a lvl 26 troop for a new 5* troop you have something more of a dilemma but even then, the mana troop is more versatile than the 5* troops and you don’t have a deep pile of leveled troops for exchanging.
It appears you are still building a solid base and IMO your best strategy is to get a rainbow set of 4* troops first, then decide whether a second set at 23 is better for you or if a single 5* troop is…
The 5* troops only shine if placed under one of the two associated classes so are certainly aimed at later stage players that have their 4* options covered.
For players in your situation (working on first two sets of 4* troops), a single 5* troop that goes under your war tank may be the way to maximize the impact of using your resources IF your alliance has a settled tank color AND you have a settled tank.
It would be a bonus if you use that hero regularly in other arenas and can benefit from the troop there too (events, tournaments, raids, regular defense).

Based on latest beta and latest intel from @Elioty33 : it’s :
1 summon : 300 gems or 100 troop crystals
10x : 2600 gems
There should be offers when legendary troop portal is launched on 4/1/2024.
My guess, based on offers for aether and ascension crystals, is 4 tiers of offers IAP plus at least 3 offers in WS.
4th tier should be the free tier: 50+50. Gives you 1 free summon.
If those offers follow the same pattern, there will be 2 rounds => 2 free summons
No quest in sight and nothing that suggests hope for one.

Excellent advice Sternman. I was thinking along the same lines. I’m a lmost done having a complete 2nd rainbow team. I’ll worry about 5* troops later. Thanks
