I’m having a hard time deciding between Viscaro and Malicna to use my tabards on. Either would be pretty much just for extra depth on attack teams. I could also see using Viscaro on defense in rush wars and tournaments and MAYBE Malicna on yellow titans. I have been holding out for a better option but I need to go ahead and clear out some space(trainers are piling up), and besides what better way to pull a great new purple hero than to use up your tabards first. lol

I have both. In general, I suggest you go for the one that you can emblem the most.
However, who do you have maxed already for dark?

I have Malcina +18 and wish I had Viscaro instead. Don’t get me wrong, Malcina is an OK and good looking girl, hangs aroud the bench with many others all day long and comes out for wars and perhaps class quests, but I have a trunk full of this type of heroes. Meanwhile, watching some of @Homaclese clips, you’ll see how Viscaro does a lot of heavy lifting there, even if he’s not the main star of the vids in question. Viscaro is amazing against minion summoners, especially healing ones like Hulda or Diaochan. I’d choose Viscaro over Malcina any day. Malcina is a great hero 30% of the time.

I’d have to agree here. Malicna is good. Viscaro is great - to my mind the best HOTM of the last 1.5 years. If you can build a battle of attrition team around him that will keep you alive then he will eventually kill all minion summoners, even MN. I never try to take her out first because I know she will eventually go away quietly.
He also neutralises healers, although without the insta-fiend that makes him extra effective vs summoners. I take him in almost every raid, and in combination with Noor there is no minion threat (including Hulda) that intimidates me.

That is some high praise. I have Viscaro… Occasionally bring him in to stifle the minion summoner, but i have never considered making him a focal point… The way i have with skadi.

S5 is out. Viscaro and his fiends are quite helpful on those special stages where enemies heal themselves every 5 turns.

I think the 3rd showcases him the most as I deliberately removed Diaochan as she is a super strong hero. It ends up being a true battle of attrition but this leads to my point that as long as you have minion summoners like MN they will all die eventually because of Viscaro. Just gotta keep the team alive until that happens.

If you like to gamble or feel like you have good luck I recommend choosing Malicna. 
I have healers… but I think I lack the necessary overhealers needed to pull off that technique. But I tip my cap… when I get some emblems… I’ll send them to viscaro.
