First, it’s strange to think about someone just starting out. Second, you are most kind to continue using your time to find other ways to help people. And third, to answer your question:
You mention focusing on the strong color vs the Titan. That’s the right place to start, but I personally do more damage vs ice titans using my dark team. So to make this a comprehensive guide you should include a section discussing that at times this might be the best option.
I’m into helping any level, even beginners.
I just joined an alliance where players are like level 20-25 and I have fun with them ^^
