Tarlak stack – can two Tarlaks stack with each other?

So Tarlak special says the effect stacks up to 160%. I have 2 tarlak, just tried it, tarlak doesn’t stack with tarlak himself. One overwrites the other. Is this a bug? As the special description clearly says stacks with similar effects, two tarlaks are obvious similar effects.

Tarlak stacks with other standard attack buffs, but Martial Prowess doesn’t stack with itself — as is typical for status effects.

The most comparable example is Wu Kong, whose Gambler’s Stance stacks with regular attack buffs, but not itself.

I still didn’t understand. how can I make it go to160% ? Do you mean I should just have an attack buff(normal attack up)?

Pretty much. It stacks with other attack buffs, such as regular attack buff, and Wu Kong’s attack buff, all the way up to 160% (so if stack of attacks would be higher it will be reduced to 160%). SO obviously you don’t want to stack Tarlak and Wu/Ranvir, because benefit will be reduced because of that cap but you’ll get the miss from Wu/Ranvir. Also:

  • Miki’s buff and Tarlak’s buff overwrite each other.
  • Ranvir’s and Wu’s buffs overwrite each other as well.

So you want to stack buffs like Tarlak + Heimdall.

To add to @Nightmare2048’s notes, banner and titanium shield as well as boosts from Kirill or Boldtusk would also work.
Side note: there is a way to enhance beyond the 160/170% attack buff limit from Tarlak/Miki when used in combination with heroes that boost the shields on the field like Ratatoskr does:
