Short Atlantis, new tactics?

Now that it’s shrunken to 2 days, I thought it might be useful to discuss what people plan to do with their farming.

I’ve grown accustomed the last couple months to throwing enough autoplay farming down to earn enough backpacks to keeo 3 TC2 going, this takes pretty much constant autofarm in the old timeframe on top of every possible loot ticket.

Now it’s clear that hard levels are not as efficient to do WE wise for the rewards, but I’ve been using a hybrid solution, I loot ticket on hard to maximize those, then I autofarm on normal.

But now since time is the premium (Happy to buy as many flasks with gems as I need to to hit my goals) perhaps shifting to an all hard level strategy might be optimal, even if it’s more wasteful on WE for the results as now I can get whatever I need there but the time itself is so limited.

I wonder what others are considering to adapt to this change?

I usually use all my loot tickets (from wars and VIP) on level 1-9 Hard. I usually don’t have the time for major autofarming…

It won’t change anything for Atlantis for me. If anything I won’t be able to use all of my flasks in the timeframe and I’ll have to devote flasks elsewhere. Not exactly a problem.

I’ll autoplay Mok-Arr 'till the flags will run out, then if I’ll have spare time I’ll use a flask and do the same.

No loot tickets, I’ll use these to farm avatars where I can’t autofarm.

It’s just speeding up doing what you do now. Perhaps more loot tickets being used? Exactly the game’s plan.

I mean I’m already using every loot ticket I can purchase and acquire and I only use them at Atlantis. Best I’ve had was 330, and I can use that very quickly. The thought is what’s the best way to get all my backpacks with the remaining time in the most efficient way, higher volume on hard levels but with lower efficiency?

I´d use tickets on harder levels so you get more resources and exp, autoplay in 1.2.

I will spend around 100 tickets from vip, wars and titan chests the rest of the time I´ll rush hard levels, I have 140 stages remaining.

Sleep less, auto farm more :woman_shrugging:

I recommend 9-4 N as a good level to farm everything. Easy to autoplay too, and a good amount of mobs for increased Orihalcum seadragon chances.

Yeah last AR I did some province 9 and the XP is for sure better, but I definitely was seeing less backpacks than province 1 and my #1 need for AR is backpacks

Since I use Atlantis to restock on Iron and craft battle items for events etc (Dragon attacks, bombs, axes, tornadoes), I run the following every month.

  • Loot Ticket on Hard levels - 27-9H is my choice. Although this is NOT WE efficient, it is however loot ticket efficient and gives a good amount of resources per ticket spent (Ham/ Iron/ 4* crafting mats). Although 27-10H is more loot ticket efficient, there are less minions and thus less chance of seahorse spawning.
  • Autofarm 1-2N for backpacks to use up remaining WE. The drop rate for backpacks is the same for 1-1N to 1-10N, so I choose 1-2N because it is quick (2 waves of enemies + 1 boss wave, no poison to slow things down)

Using the above, I usually meet the target of battle items within 24 hours of AR. I use the remaining time to auto-farm 9-10N for experience.

I find it a nice place there too, but having to face Gill Ra slows the autofarm.

You’re still farming for experience?!

Also, 9-9N may be an option. It has slightly less experience, and more monsters.

Pteurosaurian. Doesn’t slow the autofarm that much.

Oh, you´re right, 4.3 is Gill Ra, the one I use for chest monster. thanks.

Why not? Higher levels give more WE so flasks become more useful. XP is what I value next after backpacks.

That’s true. I think farming experience can be a smart move.

I’m just surprised that @genuineness farms for experience sometimes. He is currently level 101.

I think I understand you are trying to determine if you would be able to farm for backpacks faster by Auto playing S2:1-x (H) than you would if you were autoplaying S2:1-x(N).

Based on my autoplay team the time it takes to autoplay a hard level outweighs the increased loot. Based on Barry’s Farm guide you should expect between 5-6 backpacks per run on the hard levels and between 2-3 backpacks on the easy levels. So for you it would come down to can you autoplay a hard level fast enough to benefit you. For me the answer is no, but it may be different for you.

I do agree you may have to change either your tactic for farming or change your expectation

Thanks for this reply it’s just what I had in mind.

So the idea is if you can farm 1H level in less time than it takes for 2N levels then it’s more time efficient to do the hard levels.

In this situation you’d want to construct a team tailored to the particular level, possibly forgo a healer to speed up the time, favor heros with hit all enemies etc.

I used to do a lot of 9:7 to get coins for atlantic like 1.5-2 pulls per 15 flask…

umm now imma do mostly 1.2 for kits because it’s faster… and play with the heros I have and try to enjoy the game …
