There’s absolutely 0% chance Atlantis hero will be in the S3 gate.
And i’m kind optimistic.
It could be it stole part of your heroes as sacrifice, on top of a forced monthly subscription of a golf magazin.

My guess, it will be a classic and S3 heroes. Otherwise almost nobody will spend on atlantis summons.
New S3 heroes for you:
Yea what sucks is the power creep. If these new heroes have base power ratings of some of our current emblemed heroes, it’ll force the summons on people to keep up
Costumes is part of that. No more v20 buffs. From here on out if we want our hero stock to stay relevant, we’ll have to summon one way or the other. Costumes or s3/new hotm.
First few hotm of 2020 seems to already paint that picture pretty clearly.
Anyone wantin to stay competitive, apply for another credit card now cause 2020 will be expensive
If they really wanna make serious money (and they want), then the same two past hotm featured at Atlantis gate, will be also featured at S3 gate. Doubled chances to try for those. Even a very cheap player like me, would be glad about. In the past I pulled with coins featured GM and Ares (I wasn’t here the time they were hotm). So, there is always a chance. And definitely, hope
P.S. Like already many know, I pulled my 2 hotm this year (Seshat and Kingston) with the last EHT in the last day…
If the devs have any sense this (or something like it) is the approach. There must be a reasonable path to getting to season 3 for new players whether free, cheap or pay. That means making it structurally easier to gain s1 and s2 heroes and level them. There is unironically no way around this. Consider clash royale. When they moved to the VIP pass format (which I suppose they learned from this game and Fortnite) they also made it much much easier to get legendary cards and reach the legendary arena. My main account took a year to get to legendary. I took a new f2p clash account to the legendary arena within a month recently. My bet is that that happens with this game as well. If it doesn’t then RIP EP in long term.
Would it be better if we had chances at 4 different past hotm each month, with stockable coinage for 2 different portals?
This game is actually behind the others. This isnt a veteran development team, hence the clumsiness and learning curve of the past couple years. They are learning from the structures of other games. They started out tryin to do their own thing but saw the cash other games were pullin in with different business models(subscription based bein one and we have another subscription feature comin)
But yea we still have hero academy comin out, i suspect that will be an attempt to bridge the bad luck before s3. Just hope it’s not another alchemy lab
Depends of everyone’s needs… If I miss Eve at Atlantis, I would definitely love to have another chance at S3 gate. Anyway, important thing is to be 2 past hotm. My 6th sense tells me it will. And I don’t even see dead people
I mean the logical thing would be to release an “Advanced Training Camp” in the same way as we get advanced mines, farms, etc. This ATC would allow to train heroes with a chance at level 3* S2 (first level), chance at S2 4* (second), color specific 3* with chance at S2 and 4* (third-seventh), chance at S2 5* (eight) - not sure what the last 2 levels (maybe some kind of TC2 without the backpack requirement lol) would be but something like this I think it’s the organic way for the game to develop.
All depends on hero academy. Until that is released or @Petri gives us some kind of insight, we’re in the dark on their big plan
I mean unless the HA includes S2 heroes (which I highly highly doubt) I would say they can do both. Hell, even if HA includes S2 heroes they can do both.
For what it’s worth, I’m going to join the group that’s dubious about SGG’s good intentions until proven otherwise. I’m not thrilled with the arc of development and have gone F2P myself.
Probably just shouting into the void and/or will get pushback, but in my experience, Blizzard and Wizards of the Coast are companies that seem to have good customer service business practices. Just on the off chance somebody important over at SGG sees my message in a bottle, maybe learn from those companies and their mistakes and see if maybe you can chart a less antagonistic course with your player base.
A literal shot in the dark, but I figured I’d throw it out there. You never know.
so… E&P will cost $60 moving forward?
Province 16-18: Alfheim (Realm of the Elves)
Enemy: Freyr (God), Ljosalfar (light elves)
Province 22-24: Midgard (Realm of Humans),
Bifrost (rainbow bridge)
Enemy: Thor (God), Jormungandr (Midgard Serpent)
Ragnarok (Attack of Gods and Goddesses)
(Note: Season 3 predictions only)
To me best designs go for Fura and Heimdall. For the rest, excepts Stonecleave, Ratatoskr and Kvasir, not really fan of them. Maybe this is similar to the pre-release of costumes. The leaked ones were the worst (obviously IMO) hope this is the same. The valkyria looked really much better.
Good to add animations on all, and also when they attack, each should have unique sounds attached to their special, something more godlike or humanlike.
Indeed, the power creep is real. I’ve just stopped giving a flip about getting the new shiny 5* things.
I’ll just stick to my 3* and 4* heroes, as at least I can still compete in challenge events with them, which is where I frankly have more fun playing anyways. Embleming my 3* heroes and leveling 2* troops is ill-advised but that’s where I’ve found to have the most fun myself.
insert witty meme implying video games are fun
