Sartana, Quintus, or 2nd Seshat

I currently use these darks:

Kage +7
Seshat
Proteus +16
Rigard
Ameonna

I always stack in raids, usually 3/2, sometimes 4/1 or mono.

Who should my next ascension be?

  • 2nd Seshat
  • Sartana
  • Quintus

Now hear my out- I’m fully aware that Seshat and Sartana are far better heroes than Quintus. I just really like how Quintus fits into my stack better than adding another sniper.

Pros for Quintus:

  • Fills a general need for strong AOE attackers
  • Kage doesn’t “clean up” enemieswell due to his weak attack against low health enemies. Quintus is perfect for that
  • I can’t emblem Seshat, I have wizard emblems on Proteus that I’d rather not remove for Sartana. Sorcerer emblems are available for Quintus

Am I crazy for even considering it?

Edit: Level 2nd Seshat for best bang for your buck (even without emblems)

2nd Sesh for sure.
Only Panther, Kage, Kunchen and/or Ursl would be better than a 2nd Sesh.

Although I will say this…

It’s your roster and you can do what you want. If you want Quintus and have your own justifications/plans for using him go for it.

But the right answer (by statistical metrics) is Seshat.

I dont like duplicates so I’d max Sartana who is also great. But if you want to max Quintus then go for him, there is nothing wrong with this. Everyone of us have our own way of playing this game

I would go for variety over duplicates. But that’s just my opinion. Keep the emblems for Proteus. So that leaves you levelling Quintus. Who may get some bad press, but he hits the Titan hard

I was actually thinking about leveling quintus over Sartana as well.

Then I pulled Mok-Arr and I like him. So I think he will get the nod.

I have Kunchen, Khiona, Victor, Seshat maxed already.

I wanna have some fun with Mok.

Took him on a yellow 8* today with wu wilbur seshat khiona and got 156K in 3 flags.

I like variety so I would probably do quintus in your shoes. I think the Delay will be a nice addition to his hit.

I second this because this game rewards diversity and versatility. Having a 5* that can deal DoT could come in handy. I advise against a second seshat, but if that is what you want, that’s what you want. I don’t like Quintus… that is all I’m going to say about that.

If you have all of them at 1/1, get Sartana & Quintus to 2/60 and figure out what works better. If they are already there or better, and you want Quintus, he’s likely your guy, although you could do Sartana and simply not remove emblems from Proteus (who I think is actually better).
