Rare titan bonus prize – how does the chance for the extra loot work? Who gets the extra item?

I’ll ask for clarification about that, because I’ve seen plenty of reports of multiple alliance members getting the Bonus Item.

This maybe the situation, when ascension item came from “a normal loot”, not a bonus chance. Like on screenshots in this thread, people sometimes don’t know, that bonus items comes in the very end, after coins and emblems.
Screenshot by Yazo (12* unicorn) has a bonus item (telescope in the end of sequence).
Before that screenshot by Yazo (2 tonics from rooster 11* is just “normal loot”, not bonus item).
Video by KLinMayhen also shows that no bonus item was received.
Please, correct me if I am wrong thinking that bonus ascension 4* item always comes last.
Otherwise there may be a lot of false positive bonus items reports.

That is not a bonus roll. Bonus items rolls after the gems.

You just got really luck with two regular dart rolls. See picture of Yazo

Funny thing is from last 5 or so rare titans I never got the bonus item, but I got some other 4* AM instead. Yesterday I got Damascus Blade from Alpha Gryphon. Well, I am not complaining …

Nah, it’s the bonus roll included with the regular roll. Tier 13 only gives 3 mat drops. I got 4.

didn’t know that they get combined in one slot. Thank you for information.
This will decrease of number of “false positives” I was worried earlier.
Waiting for info from zephyr1

I’m not sure if it still does it. It only happened that one time for me. For all I know, they probably made a change to make bonus drops always appear at the end of the loot list.

Loot display

I highly doubt it. All loot rolls have always combine this way. There are many ways they could improve the loot display screen, but the rewards chests - on the gem continue screen- show they are deliberately obscuring loot to get more micro transactions from players.

Rare titans

The bonus 4* ascension item has always been a marketing gimmick.

The best part of rare titans is the emblem drops ( best source after Class quests) and +1 titan loot tier ( titan loot tier 9+ still best source of 3* / 4* non farmable ascension items ).

@zephyr1 did you receive any reply? Would be great to know. Thank you

They said they thought the Support page was outdated, and that multiple people can receive the Bonus Item, but I didn’t follow up to confirm.

I have a bunch of stuff on my list to follow up on, I’ll try to get an update when I get a chance to go through the question backlog with the Small Giant Staff.

The last time we had a 9* rare, 2 got the special item, however it is not absolutely clear if it was this special item or if it was the same 4* material by coincidence…

we presently have a 9* rooster and I’ll keep you updated how many tonics drop

disregard… we somehow totally screwed it and when I awoke the Titan had fled with 200k life remaining…

I can confirm that more than one person can get the bonus item from a rare we killed today. I got one as well as another player - and for both of us they were right after the emblems, not with the other ascension materials.

edit: killed another rare and took screenshots of two of my alts that both got bonus darts at the end of the loot sequence to confirm that multiple people can get the bonus drop. @zephyr1

Has anyone noticed if there is a difference when all members hit titan versus having some members with no hits on titan getting bonus?

There is no difference if all hit or some hit, also if the titan gets killed in 2h or 12h

Actually there is 1 difference - if one or more members don’t hit, then there is a lower chance of your alliance mates getting vital rare ascension mats. It may not impact you, but it does impact your alliance.

Sorry to necro this thread, but is there more clarification on if members don’t hit rare titans, it hurts others’ opportunities to get the rare materials?

In the last 2 rare titans nobody from my alliance get the 4* ascencion item. It can’t be right.
Is it really possible?
