RAGE NO MORE spending guide U.S. players

made some edits per your request sir. appreciate the feedback

Does it cost only 49.99 USD for an all year v.i.p in the US or you just mist-typed it?
In the EU it costs 54.99 EUR, what is 60,65 USD.

$49.99 is correct.

Realize that many things are going to use round numbers that don’t reflect current currency conversion rates, or will be only somewhat close to current best rates. This is especially true with online/mobile games, where they have fixed standing offers created at some point, and those prices won’t float, as that will lead to yet another complaint of the price “going up since yesterday”.

That’s why it’s helpful to say “U.S. guide” as the pricing reflects U.S. prices.

Thank you. (Pssst, I’m a “ma’am”)

I wasn’t thinking you were being negative, and I only posted about my justification of spending because of the mention of movie tickets. I wasn’t trying to be offensive or negative, and sorry if you thought I was.

My intent was to say that people enjoy different forms of entertainment in different ways and some are willing to pay more for a different experience while others are content with free entertainment. To each their own.

Yes you can. On Google account play games. App.

very sorry ma’am. had absolutely no idea lol.

Excellent Advice!! I spent way to much early on. I don’t really regret it as i got alot of 5* heros right off. But as time went by I have received less and less 5*'s. I have had really terrible luck with Atlantis draws. I will definately be taking your advice!

I think as this guide is only a option and used as a beginners guide to spending that it should at least include a statement saying.
The quoted comment above suggests that you need to spend to enjoy playing the game which totally false. I am sure it may nit have been intended that way.

This game provides everything you need to PLAY for free and enjoy for years to come if you accept the grind within it and spending is totally nothing more than an option offer to players which doesn’t guarantee any speedy advancement within the game what so even and many free players have gotten luckier than spenders when it comes to getting decent heroes in summons and ascersion items as rewards.

The only rewarding offer which actually has any benefit to the game is the VIP PASS for it’s extra building and the rest s just a welcomed bonus.

Players who are looking at spending should first ask themselves if they are playing only on a casual bases just to kill time and may quit playing in the next few months or if they want to make this a permanent playing experience and be here for the ong haul of the game otherwise it’s just like throwing money in the bin once they quite.

There are quite a few players that have stated they are only still here not because they enjoy playing the game anymore but because they have invested a lot into it, thus put themselves in a catch 22 situation and feel stuck now.

So all I am saying is if your going to start spending, ask yourself if you can control yourself as sending can become very addictive and over whelming.

@DoctorStrange thanks for the thread and for proposing a reasonable budget for “C2P” players. Personally I would recommend the VIP to get started, definitely the most bang for the buck. If you want to spend more, do so. If not, don’t. My personal spending crept up from that, now over your budget proposal. But that’s me. I can afford it.

To those nit-picking that his numbers don’t exactly match - I’m sure it wasn’t his intention to mislead anyone, but to suggest that players can have and stick to a reasonable budget and have some success. If you really need someone to account for every dollar you spend, you probably shouldn’t be spending any money at all in any online game.

I don’t set a specific budget for the game. If I see a “good deal”, I get it. Unless I feel like I’ve already spent enough, in which case I pass. I’m above C2P, but definitely not a whale.

Enjoy, indulge as much as you can both afford and want to, just don’t spend an amount that you’ll regret if you don’t get that “must-have” hero. Chances are you won’t get him.
