I’m not in beta and if I’m not wrong, he used to give heal and give HOT, together with +30% attack and Def, all with the price of very slow mana. That is horrendous, easily one of the worse support heroes in the game if that version ever comes out. if even kiril outclasses him, you know he’s in deep trouble. I still won’t use him in this version when costume Rigard does it way better than him. Innate ability is a complete joke too
The polls are terrible! People want yet another Telluria that breaks the game and requires to be fixed immediately it seems. Anything else is terrible - even the How does Raffaele’s Special Skill and Intended Purpose match his Base Stats? has 45% currently noting “Terribly”, even though it’s exactly how it should be for a tank/slow healer. Magic! But release an OP hero and the “XXX is broken and needs to be nerfed” are imminent.
Anyways, yea, Rafaele is not a hero I would be heavily chasing for but someone with a narrow bench of healers, missing Ariel etc. could really find him useful. Yes, he is slow, but so is Vivica and Kunchen. I think he’s more or less on par with them. Him being slow compared with what his skill does is really neat - as long as you can keep your other heroes alive till he fires, the moment he fires the tables are turned and the match starts all over. If you can’t cleanse the HoT, in few turns those who were nearly dead are full hp.
I have Ariel and Aegir maxed so personally not interested in maxing another hard support for this color. But don’t fall into thinking that he is “completely useless” (‘because he is not Telluria’) as he’s far from that.

Exactly. I’m really surprised with immediate reactions: useless! broken! the worst ever!
Since I don’t even have Kiril (not to mention Ariel), I could use him, intensively. Just like many other players out there.
I guess people already have packed rosters… So I imagine proper reaction would be skip summons in June - if they don’t like him/find him useful. Simple as that. 
If you already have many options, of course not every HoTM will suit your needs perfectly.

I summoned quite a lot for Clarissa so i guess i wont go absolute ham chasing Raffaele, if i get him i get him but i will cut my spending a bit this month. I have Ariel so he would be just another blue healer for me. I wouldnt call him useless, actually i find his heal very nice, but i will not summon just to get him.

THIS !! The poll is broken. The people doing the poll falsely choosing an option when it is not true are broken. Fix the polls. Nerf those people.

Healers do have a normal slash attack in defense. It’s just very weak.

Indeed … I saw that more at the level of the attack in terms of special competence and not with the tiles.

But your point is well-taken. The slash attack is so weak already it might as well not even exist, so yeah, that Resist is pretty pointless.

perfectly right. He is quite good. The only thing I can imagine to explain the poll is his inate abilitly. Other than that a well rounded hero.

Well I’ll gladly take this hero and give him a starting spot. Painful to replace Athena, but having those heals seem like they could be a game-changer.
Question for those who played with him in beta - I assume attack buffs from allies (such as BK or BT) have no effect on him either?
…but also got touched by the Night King unfortunately.
And yeah, innate ability is terribly chosen - whoever came out with that idea better explain themselves in the performance discussions lol.

Innate resistance applies to “status ailments that affect Attack”
Would think that means buffs are fine
