Can’t recall the next three heroes coming (i.e. if this innate resistance would help them) but yeah remember the innate resistances are applied to groups of five HotM in a row… may be just that poor Raff lucked out by being designed now and SGG not having the next blue HotM in the works yet. Still agree with the next-to-useless aspect, just trying to apply some logic hehe.
EDIT: got the “innate resistance” and the “elemental link” stuff mixed up…

Getting this HOTM is pretty grim on my end. I don’t plan pulling until August when I am halfway done with all stages of Season 3 maps. I still want Panther, and Kong has just been buffed recently, but may only use challenge coins.

The next three HOTMs after Raf all look like…bleh. In my honest opinion, I’m not excited at all about any of these future HOTMs in Beta.

I am not in BETA, so I really don’t know the heroes being tested there except those being mentioned in the BETA BEAT threads. Again, prior to release, I thought that the “LE” on the latter part of the name was a nod for the hero to be a her.
No, it still follows the rotation of the gender. Raffaele is definitely a guy.

His innate resistance, should have been something that resist ailments that negate healing…but perhaps that would impact sand empires stuff…

Remember that singer that won euro song some years ago, she/he had a beard, boobs and everything else.
I rest my case…on gender differentiation.

This hero was so bad in beta that I’ll admit to having not even noticed that his innate resistance was the ultimate waggling middle finger to top him off. A hero that is already underwhelming and slow, with minimal atk power to begin with and a special that doesn’t deal damage is given a resistance presumably with the intent of maintaining his already paltry tile damage instead of anything useful.

Honestly i think Raffaele is the worst Hotm of the game… Some kind of heroes are OP, other’s need some Alchemy with other’s Heroes like Miztero with Grazul for exemple… but Raffaele win the Oscar:after 10 minutes came out need allready a buff… His resist attack ailment make me laughing
The only good think is in case that is perfect for the accademy

Now I don’t understand something. Why put an innate talent in him or he resists the drop in attacks if he is a healer, and he doesn’t attack?

D’oh!! Stupid brain… was getting the “innate resistance” mixed up with the “elemental link” thing… the innate resistance can be whatever it wants to be, of course, while elemental link is the thing that is the same for five HotM in a row…
Which now makes me totally believe SGG are just trolling us now. 
So disappointed actually. Was waiting for his speed to change to Average at least. For me he’s just useless, sorry guys. The design is so nice… but better have Ariel… which I will now focus my attention to… well it’s been > 1 year am trying to have her… will keep you posted lol.

Perfect example of SGG trying to hit the breaks.
I say remove the HoT and give him 30% attack and Defence boost on all allies or
Remove healing to 50% and make Hot not dispellable/indespellable/not removable however they call it nowadays
