Purple Nurple

ok, have the tabbards to ascend a nice hero. The question is hurting my brain though. I have my preference and my preference is most likely the best for ME, but I like hearing opinions on here. The options are as follows:

Seshat - my only purple dispell. I love her at 3/70 and she would get a ton of use maxed out. Ranger emblems are lacking as Devana just got some, but I’d potentially take from Akkorog. Not sure though

Senan - love him at 3/70. Have Cillian, Aodhen and Orla and maxed and limit broken. Also have Rian at 4/50 and working his way up. Love the Slayers a lot. Tough to kill and powerful and the family bonus is no joke. Have 1500 emblems ready.

Quartz - I know, a beefed up Rigard. BUT, I’ve fell in love with him at 3/70. The 6 tile cleanse has saved my butt more than once…where I may not have gotten another match for a bit with Rigard. I’ve also used both Quartz and Rigard in the same attack…perpetual cleansing and attack up…giving Quartz more time to get to the beefier tier at times. Surprisingly effective. Still he may be more redundant for now. 800 emblems ready.

Agrafena - less use since she isn’t 3/70 yet, but im already seeing how power. She can be a game changer. 0 emblems ready but could move around like with Seshat.

My purples now are my weakest lot with a max Hannah and then just season 1 stuff… no costumes on the 5s…quintus, Sartana. ill use Rigard and Proteus…even Tibs more than the other options aside from Hannah at times. Just based on my style of play. Im not bashing Sartana, but I am bashing Quintus.

So, based on what I have and who is overall just the best hero, who would you do here?

It feels to me that of them all Hannah is your best choice for defense for now. So I guess your focus is on offense now.

With no developed rosters, Quartz will serve his purpose on 3.70 well enough for a while. Those dismissing him as “he’s just a better C Rigard” forget that C Rigard is one of the best heroes in the game. But, when you don’t have many heroes, you need compromises. And having to settle for a worse hero but fulfilling certain role already is it.

Agrafena. Powerful support, but first focus on building a squad to be supported.

Senan works great when you can pair him with other slayers for full family bonus, which seems to me that you can. You may try them out in offense to see if you fancy this combo and play style. It’s powerful but a one trick pony; remove one hero from the composition and it gets worse.

Seshat. Feels redundant with Sartana, but so much better. And they can form a powerful duo. It’s a hero that hardly could get replaced. And has pretty straightforward though universal use that will never get old. I think in your case this would be most rational choice for the type of purple roster that you have. Eventually, all those heroes are worth maxing, just don’t leap towards the specialists until you cover your basis. Greatest support won’t help much when there’s noone to get supported.

Thanks. My gut has been telling me Seshat despite the allure of a powerful Senan and having some slayer fun. The others were less debatable for me at the moment.

I’d go Seshat too as she has a few advantages over the great Classic Sartana. Her replicator minions are a passive health boost and can oust Fiends if none of them die before they get to 3.

Elemental link of +4% Mana generation may not seem like a lot, but sometimes it is the small differences that can save you.

If you have any other 2019 HotM’s, don’t forget about the family attack boost and then her elemental link to all heroes if you have 2. Heck, she gets a +10% boost just on her own.

All the heroes you have are good ones but Suicide_Bunny is spot on with their assessment.

You already have three maxed purple 5* that deal damage. I would personally ascend Quartz and in your shoes, I did just that (had maxed Senan, Alfrike and Sartana and decided to max Quartz over Lepiota and Victor w/ costume).

More damage may be helpful down the road, but quartz is the most diverse 5* purple you have besides Agrafena, but he is more consistent than she is.

From what you’ve shared I personally think Seshat can wait even after you max Senan. Of the 5* slayers that I have, I maxed him and Rian and they are great together! Whichever you choose, good luck.
