I’m considering giving both a miss - Epic and above - as I have only one yellow 4 star - Hu Tao - who’s currently 3/60. I couldn’t get past the last two levels of Avalon last month as MLF (mostly) kicked my ■■■ and I don’t have a 4* healer. My other 4 stars are Boril, Colen, Kelile, Skittles, Caedmon and Agwe (all 3/60). Do you think it could be done?
For rare I have 2xBane, 2xMelia and Gan Ju which I think is a good team.
First of all, you never skip anything. Maximum Effort always. Second of all, color stacking helps, but a mostly rainbow team when you are starting can be just as good since the boards always seem to coincidentally favor any reflect color. Like, every board. I am sure there is nothing to that, just a weird quirk of randomness. Yeah.
But get those AMs, as many as you can and don’t be intimidated. Craft some arrows and bombs, maybe some potions and walk on like a champ. No point in not pushing your comfort zone.
What I was thinking was to save my WE and battle items for Rare to try to get into the top 1000 (100 maybe) rather than burning flags trying to complete Epic like I did last month.
If the summons tokens given for participating are of interest to you, hit the first level of each. You cannot help but score a point, so you get a token for each.
See how far you can get! Soon as you hit a wall. Ask your alliance or on here for advice on what can help you! There’s a compass to be got,.I’m getting that f’n thang if it costs me all the WE iv got!!!
Competition is for money players, end game guys. Completion of each level should be the goal. And then you will be strong enough for the Christmas event, which is the toughest one I have seen in my 1 year of play.
Yeah I’d have to get ridiculously lucky for top 100 but 1000 maybe possible. I’m weak in 4 and 5 stars but I have the same 3 stars as everyone else. Might just farm the 1 WE level for coins.
Placing in top 100 really isn’t about the heroes you have. I mean having the best heroes is important but the only way to have a chance at top 100 is to replay levels over and over until you get good boards and use a lot of battle items to help your score.
@MexxiSteve I normally do not expect coins all that often if at all on rare levels. If they decide to show themselves, awesome. If not, I am not gonna stress about it. I normally expect them on epic and legendary. I would hope they do not reduce it further on rare difficulty.
It is your choice, but I’d try to go as far as I could. You only need to kill an enemy from each level to make into rankings. I’ll push as much as I can and try to farm coins
Return to Morlovia is a seasonal event with a completely different structure than the challenge events like Pirates.
Seasonal events a set of once-through challenge boards with special exploding tiles; finishing each level rewards certain items (including 3* and 4* rare mats). The Epic Hero Summons is augmented by three seasonal heroes; for autumn they are: Victor (purple 5*), Valaria (blue 4*), and Vlad (purple 3*). There is no ranking among players–just complete what you can. This is a huge WE sink, btw.
The challenge events are competitive, and only the completion rewards are fixed. I strongly urge people to try to complete as much as they can, even if only limping through. The completion rewards are pretty decent, especially now with emblems. Top 100, though, is extremely competitive. You will need a deep bench of optimized heroes (probably with emblems), a stack of WE flasks as you seek out optimal boards, and 100+ of each of the attack battle items and mana flasks appropriate for the level.
