So… I got “lucky” with Springvale and Atlantis, and pulled a whole bunch of blues. Now, I only have four warm capes, so which of these blues should get them first? (So, the choice would be between maxing Agwe, maxing Triton, or bringing M. Lepus to 3rd ascension).
M. Lepus is now 2/33, I started leveling him before pulling both Triton AND Agwe together. Both are still at 1/1.
Priorities: Raid offense, war, Atlantis hard mode. Kiril already takes the blue spot on my raid defense, and I’m very happy with him.
The rest of my 4* and 5* roster (all maxed with some emblems, unless otherwise stated):
Blue - Aegir (3/70), Kiril
Green - Skittleskull, Jack O’Hare (almost maxed, and will get tons of emblems as my only 4* Ranger besides Triton)
Triton is great. I have him maxed, but he does not really fight in the Diamond tier for Raids. He is very useful though in wars, and when paired with a healer. I think he will help alot in Atlantis hard mode with Aegir, giving everyone a 139% heal, allowing you to leave the healer out for more damage. I have Triton at talent level 10, going the defense/health route, and he stays alive much longer now. Overall, Triton gets used more often outside of raids. (I also have a stacked blue squad maxed so that’s why hes benched; Agier, Grimm, Magni, Frida, Kiril). however, I do replace Kiril with Triton against red titans, and just bring dragon flags. That team got me 130k ATH titan hit on a 6*.
Yeah, the only reason I was feeding M. Lepus was because I had no other blue 4s or 5s. Now I’m super excited about Triton because of your (and krainsy’s) input! Thanks again to both of you.
Master Lepus is certainly worthy of scopes. He’s one of the hardest hitters in the entire game. He does the same amount as most single target hitters but he splashes too.
One of the former best players in the game (UCLAPack) gave him her druid emblems ahead of druids like Zimkitha and Alberich, that’s how good he can be. She won the March legendary event with a blue stack that included Master Lepus.
Of course to maximize his dmg you’d want some of Alasie/Grimm, King Arthur/Frida, he combos insanely well with those.
Can’t believe how many people sleep on Lepus. He hits like a frickin bomb.
I think it’s perfectly fine to work on Triton first but I had to chime in as the drive bys on Lepus aren’t particularly fair to how good he is.
@DaveSonnenberg thanks for the input on Lepus, and the fair assessment on whether I should prioritize Triton or Lepus.
On Lepus: I know that Aeron can prevent his defense drop, and he does indeed hit like a truck. I figure when the time comes and I get enough scopes, I’ll reassess what my team looks like st the time to see whether Aegir or Lepus should get the scopes.
Yeah it’ll depend what you need. Lepus is better on offence than defence. If you’re trying to fill out a defense team and need a tank then Aegir is a great choice. If you don’t have Arthur or Frida then that makes Lepus worse for sure, he’s insane with the blue defense down. Frida + Lepus is a pretty ridiculous 2 man combo that just wrecks people. Throw in a Grimm/Alasie and you have a nice little blue 3 stack that really can work against most things. Even just Grimm/Lepus is a nice combo but not nearly as devastating as Frida.
I can see situations where Aegir is the right choice and situations where Lepus is the right choice. Both are above average legendaries IMO.
You’re definitely correct. I’ve tried Lepus out on the world map, and Aegir on the map and in raids/titans and am pleased so far. after I max Triton I will at least bring Lepus to 2/60, then the rest depends on how many warm capes I have.
I have to consider if Lepus at 3/70 might be better than maxing out Agwe…
I have Athena and Frida. Both maxed. I fire maxed Kiril’s skill first, then Frida’s then followed by Athena. The enemies are then killed by my 3/70 Richard. Repeat the entire process on the other side when mana bars are maxed. I plan to replace 3/70 Richard with 3/70 Master Lepus, after getting 2 Ariels to at least 3/70. Waiting for scopes.

IMO 3:70 is a good place for Agwe. He is an attacker and people may need him for the trials. I personally don’t have Caedmon yet. He may not be worth the capes if you have better choices in blue but going to 3:70 is worth it especially with all the different game modes out now.
I currently have Agwe at 3.60. I leveled him primarily because I needed Cleric damage for the class trials. I may fully ascend him eventually, but it isn’t a priority.
Triton is currently my best blue sniper, he has spent time on my defense team, and he is a regular member of my mono blue team (Frida 3.70, Grimm, Kiril, Grimm, and Triton).
Lepus is currently leveling, and I plan to fully ascend him, using him both on defense as my blue sniper and to replace one of the Grimms in my mono blue team. I will also give him the emblems.
thanks for the insights! all 3 definitely have their uses - none of them is terrible. I just needed to decide who to ascend first. i’ll get to them all eventually, unless a better Blue (or Blues) pop up
With Kiril your only maxed 4* blue, I’d definitely go for Triton. After him you can do Master Lepus, he’s a great fast hero with solid stats, only drawback being obviously the -20% defense drop.
