Opinion on next Holy Hero to ascend

Hi. Looking for my next Yellow hero to ascend. For context I have 18 darts and I want to ascend a hero that i can plug in to my mono yellow team which is now:

G.Jackal - Thor - Prof - Onatel - Ureus. All are emblemed.
Im thinking of replacing either Onatel or Ureus.

My options are

  • Devana
  • Akkarog
  • Kara
  • Hanitra
  • Justice (no costume)
  • Rana (with costume)
  • Zhuge Liang

Additionally, I also have Vivica, Caitlin, Leonidas, Joon maxed but unemblemed… do you think any of these could make it into the mono team?

Do you have a taunt hero? or is Kara your only one?

As you have Lidenbrock, Hanitra can be left out. Rana and Justice, dont bother with them. Akkorog, is a decent hero, but, It would be between Kara, Devana, and Zhuge Liang. Imo, I would go both Kara and Devana.

Based off of your current choices, I’d max Hanitra because Onatel and Thor make Kara far less useful but ups Hanitra because Thor increases misses and Onatel makes using special skills far more vital because if you use them, you have to make them count because Onatel steals opponents mana. Prof also adds to Hanitra’s passive.

This is my real problem… ive never had any decent taunt or evade heroes. Kara was my first taunt hero (aside from shrubbear) but i just pulled BK recently. And inever had Kadilens costume so the only experience I have with dodgers is Margaret (who I strangely enjoy using on my mono green team).

That said, I dont have too much experience using taunt/mass dodger. So in my case, would you suggest replacing Ureus with Hanitra?

Onatel’s passive also adds to Hanitra’s as well.

I love Devana for minion kill . Very sturdy hero with great defense stats . Lasts to the end of every battle . Kara is awesome of you want a taunt . I just hammer taunts in raids until they are dead . I take them out first then the healer so that’s my impression on an awesome hero in Kara . Hanitra is surprisingly awesome as a dodge hero . I would consider my opinion to be those three in order . Devana has been my holy terror since she was HOTM . I really like her value to all my legendary teams

In my honest opinion, I would max out Black Knight for taunt. Which means you can park Kara temporarily….
That really leaves you with Hanitra for dodge and Devana for minion kill etc.
I have Devana at +20 and LB and she is awesome so she gets my vote
Whichever hero you choose good luck

BK is my next red project. I have a few good red heroes lined up. Khufu and Black knight are tops for red.

Im surprised that Zhuge Liang is getting a lot of votes… does he play well with my team?

I have Devana and Kara fully maxed and LB. I have Hanitra 1/1. Probably would do her if I had taunter in other color

If you really like your yellow mono, Kara would be the way to go because it gives a taunter option in your preferred color.
