Only 1 pair of gloves for ascension

I have only 1 pair of gloves and confused as to which hero gets them. Which hero works best with my roster. Currently waiting on gloves are:

Khagan 2/60
Thorne 2/60
LiXiu 3/60
Jack O’Hare 3/60
Colen 3/60
Proteus 3/60

My current roster is:

Mother North 3/70
Kiril, Sonya, Caedmon, Merlin, Cyprian, Chao, HuTao, Wilber, Boldtusk - All maxed and talented.

Or should I pull someone from the waiting room:

Agwe, Skittleskull, Little John, Melendor, Kashhrek, Caedmon, Jabbar, Tiburtus, Chao, Lancelot, Sumitomo, Scarlett

Any additional thoughts on which hero to work on next is appreciated.

Proteus and I don’t think it’s close. Use him on all events/rare quests.

another vote for Proteus. great for events, quests, world map, raids… almost everywhere really.

I get the impression Proteus is a 5* in 4* clothes. Any thoughts on who’s next?

Melendor after Proteus.

I agree with the above posters about Proteus first, and with @DracoLovesRi about Melendor next.

I’d probably also bring Scarlett to 3.60, though Lancelot and Merlin together would give you a bit of a bonus, but you already have BT for the attack buff.

In my honest opinion it should be 100% Proteus, great for event challange, map, raid, and also Titan.

So, I used my gloves on Proteus. Quickly moving him along. Have since received 2 more pair in the last 2 days! Will get Melendor up soon. Now I’m waiting on compasses. Arrgh!

I suppose you can’t ascend MN so Proteus would my 1st option aswell.

Other wise choices:

  • Tiburtus as defemse dropper.
  • Melendor, lack of greens.
  • Scarlett: Wilbur + Bold+ Scarlett brutal red sustain.
