Onatel VS Red Hood

I have been wondering this for a long time, but I have been unable to test this myself. Do the fox minions that Red Hood produces prevent Onatel from stealing mana with her bite, or does Onatel bypass the minions ability? According to R. Hood’s fox minions description, they should halt any and all mana stealing/reduction.

Does anyone have proof?

The fact is that probably the fox minions get killed before by Onatel damage in her special attack, so they are no longer there to prevent the mana stealing.

That’s just my assumption.

What if Onatel fires first, then I use Red Hood’s special? They should prevent mana stealing regardless.
