Next average Red hero

So I have a whole bunch of average Red Heroes I now have the rings to ascend one of them. But to me they all feel a bit samey and I cant work out which one to level up.

Reds that I have maxed are.
5s Black Knight. +20, Emilio+3
4s Boldtusk +20, Falcon, Colen (+costume), Scarlett, Shadereave.

To be Levelled are
Reuben, Yang Mai, Khagan. all sat at 3.70

Think I want to level Khagan or Yang Mai for the Mana and Damage. None of them particularly excite me, however considering how long it take to get a new 5* hero I feel like by the Time I get one I’ll have picked up another set of Rings and i can use these guys in the mean time.

My advice would be to wait at least for Marjana, she should be the easiest shot and is more useable.

If you don’t want to wait, Yang Mai.

I have khagan and yang mai max with emblems and Reuben on 3.70.

Never really thought about leveling Reuben, don’t really know why just don’t really like him.

Between Mai and khagan I would say a lot depends on what you favor more:
For pretty much all kind of events if you want to score Khagan is a monster. For rush (tournaments, war) also.
For titans Mai is much better because of her extreme tile damage after some stacks. Also great for myth Titan.

For normal wars or pvp I’m a little bit undecided, Mai is decent there, not outstanding not bad and a little bit Rng dependent. Kagan is slow but when he fires he does a lot of damage.

Would probably decide for the hero you can emblem.
I personally would rate it overall Khagan > Mai > Reuben, but that’s probably because I don’t mind playing with slow heroes and at least halfway compete in events.

BTW why is the topic called average heroes when 2 are fast and 1 slow? :sweat_smile:

I called it average as none of them are top level heroes but none are awful, they just all feel a bit average to me.

i do have all three maxed and only one I use regularly is Kaghan…
Mai and Reuben just do too little to be really worthy the rings…

Kaghan gives you at least some great damage and the mana +

I’d vote for Yang Mai, most fun to use out of these. Though as you said, rather average. She could help you ‘generate’ a tile or two for BK to fire or Emilio get his 2nd charge.

If you desperately need to ascend someone - she’d be my choice. But in no rush, I would wait to see how situation unfolds.

In my honest opinion Reuben is a no (mine sits at 1/1). Yang Mai is at best average but can be used everywhere. So that leaves Khagan who hits hard so comes in great in a red colour stack.
Or you could wait for a better Red out of TC20 or HA10 maybe Marjana

I would go with khagan. Yes I admit he is slow. But he is the hardest hitting hit in game I believe. Top that with black Knights power up. He hits really hard. I have both BK and khagan they great together. I also have yang mai too and she’s meh and I regret maxing her. She’s OK at best. So although khagan is slow when he hits he more than makes up with it. Especially if u have guardian falcon.

i love yangmai. sometimes she coud hit good damage more than expected. and she could boost other red heroes mana too, perfect for red stacking

Yang Mai gets better with her stack when the battle drags for a long time, so she’ll have a good synergy wiith your Red Knight that allows your heroes to live longer.
