I’ve got 12 rings, I literally do not have any other fire 5 stars that can be ascended but I just want to make sure I’m not wasting them on khagan. In raids when I face him he seems pretty deadly, thoughts?
IMO yes, he hit hard and he is really good on rush wars.
Depending on the situation I usually put him next to 2 slow heroes that hit hard, the defense and mana increase can be devastating for the other team

I recently just maxed +8 have no regrets as yet only prob I’d say is his defense is pretty low for a 5*. paired with wilbur and falcon it’s a nice hit also that mana buff with yang mai element link is handy too.

I use him for challenge events and Ninja Tower. Best red hit three.
I don’t think he’s great, but if you have no one else I would.

I have Khagen at 20 nodes with costume bonus, I love him for events , rush war/ tourneys. He hits like know other after c Marjana fired, he melts the the other team especially in new formations , I wouldn’t hesitate

I use him for raids as well. With costume bonus and a mana troop, he’s basically average mana. I use the base version with costume bonus, 'cause I’d rather have the hit-3 than the hit-1 by the time he goes off.

I was not a fan of Khagan until I was lucky enough to pull his costume. I didn’t want to level him up, but I had his costume and no other reds to work on at the time. I have zero regrets on spending the materials, food/iron, emblems, and time to build him up. I use him in almost all areas of my game play except for Titans.
I have him on my war defense team because he is beefy. I am a defensive minded player and my nodes went to def/health. I think players write him off because he is slow mana. For me, I see him as my “tank” even though he sits on a flank. He is there to take damage and hopefully let my other heroes charge up. My Khagan is going to take a lot of tiles or a couple of snipes to take out and that could alleviate some pressure on my other heroes. If left unattended for too long, he is going do some major damage to a probably already wounded team.
I have recently strayed from his costume and pretty much only use his regular side due to the hit 3.

Khagan is the only S1 Hero who can boost mana… So I ascended him

His special is nice… You’ve got enough for 2 so no reason not too… Just keep him protected well and go defense and health with emblems to help keep him alive longer to better utilize his special.

Yes he is. He’s my main man when it comes to Legendary events
Team and current placing is below. I have zero regret on the rings or the emblems. He comes out to play in Rush wars/Tournaments and this team is also one of my main Ninja Tower teams

after his buff he got pretty usable
another example of how much S1 heroes NEED and HAVE to get a retouch. I was lucky enough to get his costume also. He’s a good boy.

I have him at +18 with a costume bonus and he is quite good. As others have said very good for many things events, raids ect.
I don’t have a lot of high end heroes so I don’t know how he would compare to them but for me he is one of my better heroes, the materials used on him were well worth it.

After getting his costume and SG buffing him recently, I made him my 10th maxed red legendary. He is on my offense team and with Wilbur, I emblemed him decently on the attack path. I usually beckon him on rush wars, sometimes in raids.

Depends on if you have costume and high leveled mana troop, if yes then go for that. Khagan is the 1st red 5* I have and I also max him up (+20) long time ago because I haven’t alternative at that moment, he is relative usable now but I only use him for color stacking on Raids, may use him more often again if get costume but I’m not expecting that thanks poor summoning odds.
