Can you post what mats you have so people know to go for 4 or 5* heroes. If you don’t have mats no sense getting advice to max a hero you can’t. Also if you edit the post its easier if you list heroes by color next time.
Welcome to the forum. List the mats and you will get help.

Some quick tips. You’re new so I’d focus on leveling a few 4* teams before you move on to 5*. Train a rainbow team of 5 at the same time. Wait until you max a hero before you move on to another. Only feed each hero heroes of the same color to take advantage of the bonus. Lastly, be patient because it takes time.

First of all welcome to the forums. Second, mop up your four stars that are on 4th tier but not 70 yet. Get Rigard leveled asap as he is the only 4 star healer and team cleanser. Get Tibs and Gormek maxed out that way your defense down options are wide enough to be flexible.

Thanks, I’ll get them up as soon as possible.

Here are my mats

Lady of the Lake, and Kingston are both Amazing. Take both up as Mats allow.

Victor is one RARE pull! Grats!! He’s a good purple to level.

I would build a Defense team of:
Grimm, Kingston, Boldtusk, Lady of the Lake, Victor

IMO… left to right priority.

Red: Finish BT, Gormek (or Wilbur if you pull next Atlantis), Scarlett, Grazul, Kelile, Colen
Blue: Kiril, Sonya, Boril
Green: Melendor, Caedmon, Lady of the Lake, Kingston, Gadeirus
Purple: Rigard, Tiburtus, Victor, Sartana, Cyprian, Ameonna (good only for offense)
Yellow: Wu, Danza, Hu Tao

Figures the 4* mat you have the most of is for the 5* element you dont have :confounded:

Lots of good advice here - take it. You’ve already got the makings of a very strong team - LoL, King, Sarty, Victor… but it’s going to be 6 months down the road or so while you build up the mats to get there.

If you are going to spend $$ looking for Mats, DONT spend gems on the offers in the shop that include a tiny chance for them (trainers tools is on right now - don’t buy it) - wait til special offers come up that include a guaranteed 4* item.

The shop offers for loot tickets and trainers are a much better investment of limited resources.

DO make sure you have a strong set of 3s (at least 2 in each colour; and a strong set of 4s - this will let you compete in the 2x weekly tournaments faster and earn more mats; and also let you compete in the events that happen that limit hero usage by level - and offer good mats.

This is the most efficient way to build a team that will earn you more mats to build a better team fastest.

It’s not the “right” way to do it, but “my” way to level 3/4 stars is to pick a pair of good 4*s and a trio of 3 stars all in unique colours and level them up together. The three stars go fast and the four stars make you feel like you’re building power.

Once you get within 1 mat of having all resources for a 5 star - sub them into your building roster and take them to 3/70. You’ll either get the mat during the build or it will come along soon after.

Do one five star at a time until your three and fours are strong. Feed only colour to like-colour for the 20% bonus.

Rigard; BoldTusk; Kiril; Grimm; Caedemon; Danz; Gormek - all really strong four stars that you’ll use for a long time.

But don’t ignore the 3Stars… you need them too, and they build fast and their mats are easy to get.

In your base make sure you push to get at least one Training Camp to level 20. Ignore researching ALL of the colour specific levels inside the TCs. They are terribly inefficient.

Research lvls 1, 2, 11, 19, 20.

Once TC20 is up and running you can start letting RNG fill out holes in your five star bench with the likes of Lianna, Vivica; Richard etc. There are some strong season 1 heroes that you can have for free. Don’t ignore that.

Talk to ya in a year and you’ll be in diamond.

Thanks for the advice.I’ll be using all of it.

One thing mentioned was the tc. Don’t research all the levels. Only research the ones listed 1,2,11,19,20. You could do others like 13 But no need for the color specific ones. Once you research it you don’t have to do it again you just build it and use it.
Also you should focus on the 4* That you will use long term.
S1 aka tc20 aka classic heroes you will use long term…
Kiril, Grimm, Sonya
Boldtusk, gormek, Scarlett, kelile
Wu Kong
Melendor, caedmon, kashrek
Rigard, Tiburtus, Sabina
Some will last longer than others like Kiril, bt and others like kashrek work long term but you might not need him at end game. But with raid tournaments and restrictions you could still need Sabina even with rigard and Melendor.

You should focus on leveling now and not getting more heroes. Looking at your mats you will 2nd a bit to get more. Focus on the 4s to win wars and raids to get you the mats for 5s and when you are ready to do a 5 check to see if it’s a good choice. Like sartana vs obakan, clearly you want obakan…jk you want sartana.
Stay focused and you have a good enough team to hit top scores once leveled.

Just stopped by to welcome you to the forum @docchesne. Glad to have you here. You’ve received top notch advice across the board above. I just really want to stress what was already mentioned by @JLB_ep and @Aunty_Krauser, I believe, finish maxing out your 3/4* before moving on to the 5*. Otherwise you’ll find yourself at a disadvantage with a bunch of partially leveled heroes. I know from experience, pulling Musashi as my very 1st summons I thought I’d struck gold…mostly it set me 5-6 months behind.
Finish several teams of 3/4* then start on the big boys. You have an extraordinary roster and will be quite the force in diamond within a year, as @Halifax already mentioned.
Please keep in mind this is NOT a race, it’s a long term building process. You won’t get instant results no matter how much money you spend. I’d suggest to follow Halifax’s suggestions concerning acquiring AM’s too. The 3/4* will help with this as well.
Summoning more heroes may not be in your best interest until you have leveled many of the ones you already have. Work on 5 different element heroes at a time, take them as far as you can before moving on to another group.

Good Luck!! And check in periodically and let us know how you are progressing. Also please don’t raid me overnight and take all my ham/iron and cups

You’re gonna want multiple teams of max 4* heroes before you start looking at 5* heroes. You need multiple teams for wars, and if you want to color stack against titans you need roster depth as well. By the time you’ve made a few teams of 4* heroes you’ll have a good stockpile of mats for 5* heroes.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I am in for the marathon just wasted a lot of good heroes and mats not know what to do. You guys have put me on the right track just want to get everything set up for tourneys, wars and raids. My alliance is new and lower level so we are all getting going together.

Thanks
