I’m up for shifting focus on leveling but i find my defense team defeated pretty often. Thoughts on next ascension and team configuration?
Hi Claird,
While you are working on the first teams it is ideal to complete a couple sets of 4* first (as well as 3*) this will allow a couple things:
I know 5* are exciting, but a bunch of them sitting at 3-70 will hinder you compared to getting more 4* completed. I do see a few 4* in the list, is that all of the options? (also please note if you have their costumes, it makes a huge difference for some of the 4*)
It might help / will help if you posted screen shots of your roster.
I have no idea what 3* and 4* heroes you have or have levelled…
My advice would be to build 3 x 3* rainbow teams and 4 x 4* rainbow teams before you start seriously levelling your 5* heroes…
I would also advise that you join a “training” alliance before you start allocating emblems and limit breakers etc

An insight into your full collection will help us along greatly - four star heroes are, for a good while, at least for many of us, our most used heroes. And materials to ascend five stars are so rare too. 
I´d show them some love, without a doubt 
Finish all the 3 and 4* heroes that you have already started.

3* Red = Buster, Namahage, Basil, Phoenicus, Li
3* Green = Faiez, Fianna, Brienne, Mnesseus
3* Blue = Dawn, Frosty, Gato
3* Yellow = Rekhetre, Poppy, Kvasir, Edelaide
3* Purple = Bjorn, Aqeela,
Note: If you have their costumes level that too
4* Red = Wilbur, Colen, Scarlett
4* Green = Kalo, Buddy, Peters, Melendor, Brynhild, Almur, Caedmon
4* Blue = Azmia, Sonya, Sapphire, Grimm, Kiril
4* Yellow = Waddles, Holly, Wu Kong, Anastasia
4* Purple = Tiburtus, Sabina, Merlin
And any of their costumes…
After that come back for more advice from the forum
Agree except for Basil, that is a trash hero… shared damage plus counter attack is an awful combo as the shared damage diminishes counter attack (its basically 1/5 of the stated counter attack)
Don’t be mean to Basil … he is ok with his defence up and counter attack lol
Although admit the link to shared damage is unique
I’ll give you Basil if you give me Carol for a difference of opinion lol (note the counter attack essentially doesnt exist due to shared damage).
I’d do Tarlak for titans. Wu can be helpful for titans as well, he misses tho vs Tarlak. Skadi-frost damage. DOT can be helpful. Hope this helps.
