Could I get some advice on building war teams? I’ve tried running 3-2 and splitting up my reds but I’m thinking going MONO would be the better option. I have a nice blue and green team and I like to keep them together. My purples are crap and my yellows just okay. My 2nd Mitsuko just needs one ring and I have emblems waiting for her. So, if I go mono red for two or even three teams, any suggestions on the best way to put them together?
The only fire hero I don’t have from those you have shown is Anzogh, and I have Sumitumo at 3/60 and Marjana at 3/70 even if I am sitting on 19 rings. Currently working on 2nd GM to be followed by 2nd Mitsuko.
Trying to balance all maxed 5 star heroes to 3 teams by placing 2 per team, here is just my 2 cents:
• Team 1: emblemed Boldtusk, 3/70 Mitsuko, Falcon, Jean Francois, Anzogh (double healing factor from BT & Anz, JF for the burn, Falcon as the def debuffer and 3/70 Mits for mana cut and blue reflect)
• Team 2: unemblemed Boldtusk 1, emblemed Wilbur, Kelile, Marjana, Gravemaker (GM burns 3, while Marj and Kel burn those who are not burned by GM or snipe dying targets for the kill, BT1 for heal and attack buff, Wilbur for def debuff)
• Team 3: unemblemed Boldtusk 2, unemblemed Wilbur, Sumitomo, Azlar, Mitsuko (Azlar covers the burn all enemies while BT here tries to increase total damage output and heal, Wilbur for def debuff, Mitsuko for mana cut and blue reflect and Sumi for sniping dying target)
This is as far as I can balance those 15 fire heroe. It would have been much easier if you have 3 Wilburs and 3 Falcons maxed (I have both 3rd Wilbur and 3rd Falcon at 3/60 but will ascend them if we constantly face green tanks in wars but that is not yet our situation as we see other color tanks in war also).
As Ultra but maybe switch Falcon and Wilbur team 1 & 2.
Thinking Anzogh hit all will benefit more from Wilbur defense debuffer on all then Falcon on 3 and often only 2 as by the time specials are loaded tank could be down.
GM/Marjana can then hit Falcon’s elemental def down.
You can only answer this serously, if you tell which opponents you are facing and how many oneshot-tries you usually get. Also your troops are very important.
If you are playing in a pretty good alliance thus against strong opponents, you can’t build 3 mono teams out of this pool. I would focus on 2 strong teams, so you have 4 reliable teams in total. Usually, you will have to clean a few times anyway. And if not, you can take your chances with yellow or purple.
Unless you are much stronger than your opposition, it is most important to concentrate your best heroes in a few teams and use them for your first attacks. Afterwards you can decide whether you prefer/have to clean your fails or make a risky attack with a not so optimal team.
I agree. I’m going to build two red mono, a green and a blue, and two clean up teams… We always face green tanks, and strong opponents.
I’ll try it for this war and see if it feels right.
