Ω Mirages of Omega : limit breaker quest

24 flags for the last level is really really high…

Agree, it’d be SOMEWHAT (and I use that loosely) different if they gave us enough items to at least apply to a 5*…

I’m happy it will take more than one quest to limit break a 5*. Depending on the frequency materials drop from other chests, it could be a worse roll out than emblems otherwise for power creep.

Tp: 4329 (Kiril+20+cb, Glenda+7, Magni+17, Mitsuko+20, c.Boldtusk+19)

I used 2 mana potions and one super mana (overkill but just for sure…)

Mitsuko for President!

EDIT: confirmed: the green reflect buff CAN be dispelled…

This has been known for months. Frankly, they vastly improved both the quest and the cost of breaking vastly during beta, so my thanks to those players.

And, as @Dinger.33 says, we don’t need that immediate power creep. It’s still faster than emblems, by a long shot.

Oh my goodness, I forgot to use my dear Mitsuko for this quest! I went mono blue throughout the quest stages because of the bonus for Ice heroes! My team almost died in the hands of the bosses of the final stage because the blue tiles dried up and they hit hard on my heroes, LOL. Thankfully, I brought time stops to prevent them from killing everyone, so I was still able to finish the quest. :joy:

This was the team that I found most helpful. I tried a mono blue team and a mono green team on earlier levels and neither worked out very well.
I found that the minions were very helpful to keep all heroes alive since they aren’t impacted by the -75% healing.

Keep them coming guys!

Apparently the last stage is VERY HARD!

Let’s help as many fellow players as possible!

I wish I could re-play the quest only to try different setups!

Please give us some details:

Team power, Heroes, emblems, battle items, strategy…

Thank you all!

I had no problems with Lianna +20, Ranvir +19, Magni +20, Grimm +20, Kiril +20.

So limit breakers is purely for advanced players. Doesnt seem anything here for us mere mortals. I’ve been playing for nearly a year now and have not come close to obtaining a hero that is deemed A class and this latest offering does not encourage you to carry on

You can limit break your 3 and 4 star heroes. It’s for everyone imho, just like emblems

This was the team I used… The defence bonus from Kiril and Magni and the minions from Noor plus the share damage gave this team great survivability…

I am only done with the first 3. In the first two I used mono blue but realized it was less effective as it relies on buffs and ailments A LOT. This team did level 3 fairly easily and I intend to take it through the last two later today.

:beers:

This is the team I used for all the stages. No items were required. That ice hero bonus makes it quite simple.

This was my team. Used 1 timestop and few mana potions

I agree, this is highly disappointing, but I have come to expected it from Small Giant. It is sheer stupidity to be 1 element shy of upgrading from the quest. The non-sense of not wanting the immediate power creep is also bs. If everyone is capable of completing the quest then the power creep is balanced, if players are not able to complete it, then it is no different than any other Quest/Event that keeps the younger players from advancing. Assuming that the quest will work like the Ascension Item quests and rotate through, it will be 3 or 6 months (or whatever the intervals of the quest is) before anyone can upgrade a 5*. So at best in 3 months later we can advance a character waiting for just one item, shameful.

I forgot as well and went mono blue.
It would have been fun to see the enemies kill themselves
